Այս օրերին ընթացող ռուս-ուկրաինական պատերազմը, ինչպես ամբողջ աշխարհում, այնպես էլ Հայաստանում դարձել է հանրային տարբեր տարանջատումների պատճառ։ Բանը հասել է նրան, որ հակասություններ են առաջացել անգամ ընտանիքներում։ Ոմանք երկրպագում են Ռուսաստանին, ով բացահայտ ագրեսիա է իրականացրել ինքնիշխան պետության նկատմամբ։ Այլք հիանում են եթե ոչ՝ Ուկրաինայի նախագահի, ապա՝ ուկրաինական ժողովրդի հերոսականությամբ, ովքեր դեռևս դիմադրում են միջուկային տերության դեմ պայքարում։

Անկասկած կարծիքների ու մոտեցումների այս բախման հիմքում ընկած է հավատարմությունը մի կողմից՝ շահերին ու հաշվարկներին, մյուս կողմից՝ արժեքներին ու սկզբունքներին։ Մի խումբը տենչում է ռուսների հաղթանակն ու ուկրաինացիների կապիտուլյացիան, քանի որ, ըստ նրանց՝ դա բխում է Հայաստանի շահերից, մյուսները պնդում են արժեքների գերակայությունն ու անվերապահությունը, եթե անգամ դրանք ոտնահարող կողմը մեր թվացյալ դաշնակիցն է։

Ըստ էության, հաշվի առնելով ժամանակակից քաղաքականության, աշխարհաքաղաքականության մեջ տիրապետող ցինիզմի ու պատեհապաշտության աննախադեպ ծավալը, դժվար է առնվազն միարժեք ասել՝ այս մոտեցումներից ո՞րն է ճիշտ կամ արդարացի, քանի որ, ցավոք, քաղաքական շահերը բավարարվում են արժեքների հաշվին, իսկ սկզբունքները, որպես կանոն, զոհաբերվում են չոր կոնյունկտուրային հաշվարկներին։

Հաշվի առնելով աշխարհաքաղաքական զարգացումները և հետևելով դեպքերի զարգացումներին՝ հասկանալի է դառնում, որ պետությունների դիրքորոշումները ձևավորվում են առավելապես շահերի և ոչ թե՝ արժեքների ու սկզբունքների հիման վրա, ինչպես հայտարարվում է։ Բայց հասարակությունները, առնվազն դրանց մտածող հատվածը, ի տարբերություն պետական պաշտոնյաների, կարող են իրենց շռայլություն թույլ տալ և դիրքորոշում արտահայտել ոչ միայն շահերի, այլ նաև արժեքների հիման վրա։ Հատկապես, որ գոնե մենք տեսել ենք և շարունակում են տեսնել, որ Հայաստանն այս տխուր իրավիճակին է հասել իշխանությունների կողմից բոլոր հնարավոր արժեքները ոտնահարելու ու դրանք սեփական ճղճիմ քաղաքական նպատակներին ծառայեցնելու պատճառով։

Բանն այն է, որ մենք՝ որպես հասարակություն, մեր մաշկի վրա զգացել ենք ու զգում ենք անարժեք ու անսկզբունք քաղաքականության ողբերգական հետևանքները։ Բայց դա զգալով ու ապրելով՝ մեծ մասամբ երկրպագում ենք հանուն շահերի արժեքների ոտնահարման, բռնաբարման քաղաքականությունը՝ հասկանալով կամ ոչ, որ եթե աշխարհի որևէ այլ անկյունում արժեքները զոհաբերվում են շահերին ու հաշվարկներին, ապա նույնը ցանկացած պահի կարող է տեղի ունենալ նաև Հայաստանի հետ, ինչպես տեղի ունեցավ 44-օրյա պատերազմում, երբ քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհը հանուն աշխարհաքաղաքական շահերի աչք փակեց մեր արժեքների ու իրավունքների ոտնահարման, մարդկանց զանգվածային սպանության վրա։

Հենց այստեղ հարց է առաջանում, թե արդյոք ընդունելի է, որ մենք աշխարհից խռովածի դիրքերից պետք է տուրք տանք հակաքաղաքակրթությանը ու որդեգրենք հակաարժեքային, հակամարդկային դիրքորոշում՝ առաջնորդվելով միայն մաքուր շահերով, որոնք, որպես կանոն, լինում են կեղտոտ։ Պատասխանը միանշանակ բացասական է, եթե մենք չենք ցանկանում դառնալ աշխարհաքաղաքականության հերթական զոհը։ Արժեքներից զուրկ ու միայն շահերի վրա քաղաքականություն իրենց կարող են թույլ տալ միայն  գերտերությունները, փոքր պետություններին, սակայն, կարող են պաշտպանել միայն արժեքները, ինչն ամենևին չի նշանակում՝ չհետապնդել շահեր։

Ակնհայտ է, որ այդ շահերի հիմքում նույնպես պետք է դրվեն արժեքները։ Դա անհրաժեշտ է ոչ թե այսօր աշխարհի որևէ ծայրում պայքարողներին, այլ առաջին հերթին ինքներս մեզ՝ Հայաստանին ու Արցախին։
