ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Կանանց միջազգային օրվա կապակցությամբ: Դրանում ասված է.

«Սիրելի կանայք,

Ջերմորեն շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիդ Կանանց միջազգային օրվա՝ Մարտի 8-ի առիթով։ Հատկապես այս օրը մենք առանձնահատուկ ջերմությամբ ենք լցվում մեզ շրջապատող կանանց նկատմամբ, լինում ավելի ուշադիր ու հոգատար:

Ձեր հոգատարության, իմաստության ու համբերատարության շնորհիվ դարեր ի վեր պահում ու պահպանում եք մեր ընտանիքների ամրությունը, դաստիարակում առաջին հերթին հայրենասեր զավակներ: Ընտանիքին ու Հայրենիքին ձեր նվիրումն է նպաստում ազգային ավանդույթների պահպանությանն ու ամրապնդմանը:

Միաժամանակ, այս օրն առանձնակի կարևորվում է Մարտի 8-ի խորհուրդը՝ կապված կանանց իրավունքների պաշտպանության հետ:

Ցանկանում եմ ընդգծել, որ կանանց և տղամարդկանց միջև հավասար իրավունքների ու հասարակական կյանքի բոլոր ոլորտներում լիարժեք մասնակցության ապահովումը ՀՀ կառավարության առաջնահերթություններից է։ Շարունակական աշխատանքներ ենք տանում հասարակական կյանքում կանանց դերի բարձրացման, աշխատանքային իրավունքների պաշտպանության, բռնության ենթարկված անձանց պաշտպանության, պետական կառավարման, տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմիններում, քաղաքական գործընթացներում կանանց ներգրավվածության ապահովման ուղղությամբ։ Պատահական չէ, որ պետական կառավարման համակարգի բարձր օղակներում, նաև ուժային կառույցներում, հասարակական կյանքի պահպանման ոլորտում այսօր հաջող գործունեություն են ծավալում բազմաթիվ կանայք և հույս ունեմ՝ նրանց թիվը գնալով ավելի կմեծանա։
