Այսօր ամբողջ աշխարհում նշվում է Երկիր մոլորակի օրը։ Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ շրջակա միջավայրի նախարարությունից։

2022 թվականի օրվա կարգախոսն է «Ներդրումներ կատարենք մեր մոլորակում»։

Այս տոնը քաղաքացիական նախաձեռնության արդյունք է, որի նպատակն է մարդկանց ուշադրությունը սևեռել , շրջակա միջավայրի պահպանության և մեր մոլորակի խնդիրների վրա ինչպիսիք են՝ կլիմայի փոփոխությունը, ջրային ռեսուրսների կառավարումը, անտառաշերտերի վերականգնումը և պահպանվող տարածքների կառավարումը։

Երկրի առաջին օրը վերագրվում է որպես ժամանակակից բնապահպանական շարժման մեկնարկ, իսկ այժմ այն ճանաչվում է որպես մոլորակի ամենամեծ քաղաքացիական իրադարձություն:

1970 թ-ին Երկրի առաջին օրը գործողությունների ալիք առաջացրեց, այդ թվում ՝ ԱՄՆ-ում բնապահպանական կարևոր օրենքների ընդունումը: Մաքուր օդի, մաքուր ջրի և վտանգված տեսակների մասին օրենքները ստեղծվեցին ի պատասխան 1970 թ-ի Երկրի առաջին օրվա: Շատ երկրներ շուտով ընդունեցին նման օրենքներ:

Երկրի օրը մինչ օրս էլ կարևոր նշանակություն ունի: 2016 թ-ին ՄԱԿ-ը ընտրեց Երկրի օրը որպես այն օր, երբ պատմական փարիզյան կլիմայական համաձայնագիրն ուժի մեջ մտավ:

Այս օրը հիանալի առիթ է խորհրդածելու այն մասին, թե ինչպես կարելի է շրջակա միջավայրը դարձնել ավելի կանաչ, մաքուր ու առողջ։
Հայաստանը ևս անմասն չէ բնապահպանական խնդիրներից, որոնց վրա պետք է սևեռել հանրության ուշադրությունը և որոնց լուծման ուղղությամբ պետք է համատեղել բոլոր ջանքերը։
