Ա. Չեխովի անվան դպրոցի նախկին տնօրեն Գայանե Սարուխանյանն ուղերձ է հղել, որում ասված է.

«Սիրելի չեխովականներ

Մեր կյանքում կատարվող փոփոխությունները հաճախ չեն համապատասխանում մեր ցանկություններին, սպասելիքներին, մեր երազանքներին։
Եկեք անենք հնարավորինը, անենք անհնարինը, որպեսզի այն, ինչ փոխվում է աշխարհում, փոխվում է մեր շուրջը, մեր հայրենիքում, դպրոցում... դարձնի մեզ ավելի ամուր, զգոն, ավելի սթափ, ավելի նպատակասլաց։
Կյանքը շքեղ է, շքեղ է մեր Հայաստանը, հավատքի ու գիտելիքի ուժով անպարտելի մեր դրախտավայրը։ 
Հավատացեք նրա գերաշնորհ ուժին ու դարձեք արժանի այն  լուսավոր ձգտումներին ու ստեղծելու, շենացնելու այն զարմանալի կամքին, որով օժտված է մեր գենը, այն զորավոր գիտելիքին, որ պահված է մեր Սուրբ հայրենիքում։ 
Ես գիտեմ, որ միշտ հպարտանալու եմ ձեզնով ու ձեր հաջողություններով, համոզված եմ, որ այս քաոսային աշխարհում դուք ստեղծելու եք մի մեծ ներդաշնակություն, որն իր շուրջն է համախմբելու աշխարհի բոլոր լուսավոր մարդկանց։
Մենք թուլացանք այնտեղ, որտեղ մեզ պարտադրված արժեքներին թերագնահատեցինք մերը՝ իրականը, աստվածայինը։
Հիմա բոլորս ականատեսն ենք ճակատագրական այն իրողությանը, որը կոչվում է քաղաքակրթությունների բախում. սրանք սովորական պատերազմներ չեն, հանձնվում է կործանարար հինը. նոր Աշխարհ է ծնվում, ու ...մենք ենք ընդունելու այդ ծնունդը, մենք՝ ՀԱՅԵՐՍ,  որովհետև մենք գիտենք ընդունել նորը, առաջադիմականը, քաղաքակիրթը, ընդունել ու բարուրել սիրով, հավատով, աղոթքով։
Մեծ խնդիր ունենք՝ այս թոհուբոհից անվնաս դուրս բերել ՄԵՐԸ՝ այն բարձրակարգը, արժեքավորը, որ թաքնված է հավատքի մեր խորաններում։ Իսկ դա կարող ենք անել միայն գիտելիքի ու կրթության ամենազոր ուժով, և դա անելու եք դուք՝ ձեր կոփված սերունդը։
Իմ սիրելիներ,
բոլորս ենք հիշում մեր առաջին հանդիպումը հարազատ բակում ու տարիներ շարունակ ավանդույթ դարձած իմ ողջույնը՝ ՄՈՒՏՔԴ ԲԱՐԻ, ՍԻՐԵԼԻ ՉԵԽՈՎԱԿԱՆ։
Այսօր, մանկավարժի իմ կենսագրության մեջ առաջին անգամ...
ՁԵԶ ՀԵՏ ԵՄ ու ասում եմ ձեզ՝ լուսավոր է լինելու ձեր ճանապարհը՝ մեր ճանապարհը։
