Վերջին մեկ ամսվա հայաստանյան իրադարձությունները ցույց տվեցին, որ հայ հասարակությունը զրկվել է հանրային իմունիտետից և չի կարողանում գնահատել սեփական գերակայությունները, արժեքները, հստակ պահանջներ ներկայացնել քաղաքական դերակատարներին, իշխանություններին և հանրության մեջ հեղինակություն վայելող անձանց։

Ըստ էության, հաջողում են բացառապես այն հասարակությունները, որոնք կարողանում են գնահատել իր ամենաընտրյալ անդամներին, լավ կրթություն ստացած, հեղինակություն ունեցող մարդկանց, կարողանում են օգտագործել նրանց ներուժը երկրի առջև ծառացած խնդիրները լուծելու ուղղությամբ։ Հանրությունն ինքը չպետք է թույլ տա, որպեսզի նման մարդիկ հայտնվեն բանտում, հատկապես, երբ նրանց բանտարկում են ոչ թե ակնհայտ քրեական մեղադրանքներով, այլ ընդամենը քաղաքական նպատակահարմարությամբ, նույն այդ հասարակության իրավունքների պաշտպանության համար։

Նորմալ հասարակություններում, օրինակ, «ԱՐԱՐ» հիմնադրամի համահիմնադիր, հասարակական քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանի նման մարդուն հանրությունն ինքը թույլ չէր տա պահել բանտում, այլ իշխանություններին կստիպեր ազատ արձակել նրան, օգտագործել Չալաբյանի և նրա նմանների պոտենցիալը։ Հայաստանն այն երկիրը չէ, որ իրեն նման ճոխություն թույլ տա այդպիսի անհատներին բանտարկելու, արտաքսելու, երկրի կյանքից հեռու պահելու, ընդհակառակը, յուրաքանչյուր անհատ, ով լուրջ կարողություններ ունի երկրին օգտակար լինելու, հնարավորություններ ու կապեր ունի արտերկրում, Հայաստանի համար որևէ դրական քայլ իրականացնելու, իշխանությունն ինքը պետք է շահագրգռված լինի այդպիսի մարդկանց փայփայելու, նրանց ներուժը օգտագործելու, նրանց հնարավորությունները հանուն երկրի կարիքների ծառայեցնելու հարցում։

Ժամանակն է, որ հանրությունն ինքը սթափվի, կարողանա ոտքի կանգնել, նույնիսկ ճնշում գործադրի կառավարության վրա, թե՛ Ավետիք Չալաբյանին, թե՛ նրա նման անձանց բանտարկությունից ազատելու հարցում։
