«Հայտարարելով, որ Հայաստանում քաղաքական ճգնաժամ չկա, Արարատ Միրզոյանը ցանկացել է տալ Սերգեյ Լավրովին, այսպես ասած, «երկրորդ խոսքը», - «Փաստինֆո» - ի եթերում ասել է հասարակական գործիչ, քաղաքագետ Մհեր Ղուշչյանը: Որպեսզի Լավրովն էլ հաստատի, որ Հայաստանում քաղաքական ճգնաժամ չկա, և ընդհանրապես ամեն ինչ լավ է։ Դե, իսկ Լավրովը, լինելով շատ խելացի մարդ, իհարկե, այդ արտահայտությունից զերծ է մնացել, Միրզոյանի խոսքերը չի հաստատել»։

Այնուամենայնիվ, զրուցակիցը հիշեցրել է Պուտինի խոսքերը, որը նախագահ Խաչատուրյանի հետ զրույցում ասել է. «մենք գիտենք, թե ինչ է կատարվում Հայաստանում»: Ղուշչյանը կարծում է, որ այս արտահայտությունը նշանակում է․ «մեզ մոտ ամեն ինչ վերահսկողության տակ է», ոչ ավելին: Խոսքը ներքաղաքական իրավիճակի մասին է։

Մհեր Ղուշչյանը մեջբերեց մեկ տարի առաջ՝ նախընտրական քարոզարշավի ժամանակ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի խոսքերը. «Առաջ Մենք Ռուսաստանի դաշնակիցն էինք, իսկ հիմա դարձել ենք պրոտեկտորատ»:

«Ընդ որում, մենք դարձանք պրոտեկտորատ այն իշխանության օրոք, որն ամենից շատ ատում էր Ռուսաստանին և քարոզում էր Ռուսաստանի դեմ», - նշեց քաղաքագետը: Ինչ վերաբերում է եվրոպացի պաշտոնյաներին, ապա նրանք ակնկալում են կոնկրետ գործողություններ, որոնք խոստացել է կատարել գործող վարչապետը։ Կոնկրետ՝ նրանք ուզում են Ղարաբաղի շուրջ բանակցային գործընթացն իրենց ձեռքը վերցնել։ Նրանց պետք չէ, որ Հայաստանը ինչ-որ օգուտներ քաղի, նրանց ուղղակի պետք է վերցնել միջնորդական առաքելությունը Ռուսաստանից»։

Քաղաքագետը կարծում է, որ հնարավոր է՝ ինչ-որ բանավոր խոստումներով Փաշինյանը եվրոպացիներին դա խոստացել է։ Ահա նրանք էլ գալիս են խոստացածի հետևից։
