Ինչքան փորձում եմ խուսափել Քրիստոսի արձանի մասին խոսելուց չի ստացվում, որովեհտև արդեն քանի օր է մարդիկ շարունակ հարցնում են թէ ճիշտ բան է՞ արձան կառուցելը թէ՞ ոչ: Ես էլ ուզում եմ թեման օգտագործել ու դրա վրա ավելի կարևոր բանի մասին խոսել: Երեխեք այս արձանի թեման և նման հասարակական հնչեղության թեմաները մեզ շեղում են մեր ազգային ու անհատական կարևոր նպատակներից: Դուք դրան մի տրվեք ու մի շեղվեք: Անցյալ շաբաթ կառավարությունը խոսում էր Հայաստանում տեղադրված խաչերի մասին ու ժողովուրդը սկսեց քննարկել: Այս շաբաթ խոսում են Հայաստանում տեղադրվել Քրիստոսի արձանի մասին, ու էլի մարդիկ քննարկում են դա: Բայց գրեթե ոչ մեկը չի խոսում այն մասին որ Կապան-Տաթև միակ պետական ճանապարհը գտնվում է ծայր աստիճան անմխիթար վիճակում: Ամբողջ Սյունիքը Գորիսին, Արցախին ու մնացած Հայաստանին է կապվում այդ բարակ թելով, որը գտնվում է ծայր աստիճվան անմխիթար վիճակում: Սիրելի լրագրողներ և պատկան մարմիններ, գնացեք Տաթև ու քշեք Կապան և ինքներդ տեսեք: Մենք ինչպե՞ս կարող ենք այդպիսի ճանապարհով ամրապնդել մեր պետականությունը: Բայց սա ընդհմենը մի հարց էր: Իսկ անհատական մակարդակի վրա, մեր գլխավոր խնդիրը Աստծուն դառնալն է՝ Քրիստոսին դառնան ու Իր հետ ապրելը: Ես հասկանում եմ, որ սա մշուշոտ է թվում շատերը: Բայց ուրիշ ճանապարհ չկա: Մեր անհատական ու ազգային խնդիրները երբեք չեն լուծվի առանց Քրիստոսի: Մեր ազգային ու անհատական խնդիրները երբեք չեն լուծվի եթե չարությունն ավելի շատ է մեր երկրում քան բարությունը: Մեր ազգային ու անհատական խնդիրները երբեք չեն լուծվի քանի դեռ ամեն մարդ ավելի շատ իր մասին է մտածում, քան իր մերձավորի ու Հայկական պետության: Իսկ այս ամենը հնարավոր է միայն Քրիստոսի շուրջը հավաքվելով: Տղամարդիկ, խնդրում եմ մտածեք այս բաների մասին: Առաջնորդեք ձեր կանանց ու երեխաներին դեպի Քրիստոսը: Այս մեծության ուրիշ ուժ չկա: Այս մեծության ուրիշ առաջնորդ չկա: Ինքն է տվիչը, Ինքն է առաջնորդներ ուղարկողը: Բայց եթե մենք այս իրական հարցերը թողած՝ քննարկում ենք արձան դնել կամ չդնելը, ուրեմն դեռ շատ հեռու ենք: Աղաչում եմ եղբայրներ, ձեզանից նրանք, ովքեր հասկանում եմ այս ամենը, աղոթեք որպես Քրիստոս Աստվածը համախմբի մեզ իրական խնդիրների շուրջը և ուժ ու իմաստություն տա դրանք լուծելու: - Խնդրում եմ, մտահոգ հայ Քրիստոնյա մարդիկ, պատմեք այս բաների մասին ձեր տնեցիներին, ընկերներին ու սովորեցրեք երեխաներին չխաբվել ու չմոլորվել:
