Դունչը խաղողին չհասնելու նուրբ արվեստը... Հիսուս Քրիստոսի մոնումենտալ արձան-համալիրը ճղճիմ ամբիցիաների բավարարման թեմա չէ
 
Մեր հասարակության խարաններից մեկն էլ այնպիսի մարդիկ են, էն որ ժողովրդական խոսքով ասած՝ դունչը խաղողին չի հասնում, ասում են խակ էր: Ինչքան էլ ասում ես նման մարդկանց չհետևես, որովհետև նրանք արժանի չեն հանրային ուշադրության, միևնույն է գտնվում են լրատվականներ, որ նման ճղճիմ խոսքին հարթակ են տրամադրում: Սա էլ ի դեպ մեկ այլ խնդիր է՝ եթեր թողնել բացարձակ անպիտան մարդկանց:
Հիմա ինչ-որ քանդակագործ Սահակ Պողոսյանի եթեր են տվել, սա էլ շատ լուրջ դեմքով նստած մեկ կրոնից է խոսում, մեկ հավատից, մեկ Աստծուց, մեկ զբոսաշրջությունից, մեկ եկեղեցուց: Չես թլ հասկանում այս մարդը քանդակագո՞րծ է, թե՞ ամեն ինչի կիսատ-պռատ մասնագետ: Ինչևէ, երբ խոսքն ամբողջությամբ լսում ես հասկանում ես, թե շան գլուխը ոտեղ էր թաղված: Ուրեմն այս խելոքը չի ընդունում Հիսուս Քրիստոսի մոնումենտալ արձան-համալիրի գաղափարը, բայց գիտե՞ք ինչն է հետարքրքիր, այս մարդու համար ոչ թե արձանի գաղափարն է անընդունելի, այլ այն, որ այդ արձանը ինքը չի քանդակելու: Այո-այո, հենց այդպես: Արձան-համալիրի մրցույթին մասնակցած քանդակագործներին է անուն կպցնում, արձանի տեղադրման թույլտվությանն է կպնում, ուզում ես հարցնել՝ լավ, քանդակագործ կոչեցյալ, կարելի՞ է այսքան մուրացիկի հոգեբանություն ունենալ:
Եթե մարդ վստահ էր իր տաղանդին, գնայիր մասնակցեիր մրցույթին, որը բաց ու թափանցիկ էր, ժողովրդի ընտրությամբ, հիմա պոստ ֆակտում նստել եթերից ամենայն լուրջ դեմքով մրցույթ է քննադատում, ու հասկանում ես՝ դունչը խաղողին չի հասել ուղղակի:
Կարելի՞ էր արդյոք այս թեմայի շուրջ այդքան մանրանալ, սա սեփական ողորմելի ամբիցիաները բավարարելու թեմա՞ էր արդյոք: Ինչ արած, ունենք այն, ինչ ունենք: Մնում է հուսալ, որ արձանի կառուցումը հաջողությամբ կընթանա, որն ի դեպ հոգևոր կառույց չէ, ինչպես նշում է այս վայ-քանդակագործը, այլ մոնումենտալ արձան-համալիր:
