Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ Հունաստանը թանկ կվճարի, եթե հեռուն գնա։ Տեղեկությունը հայտնում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին։
«Հունաստանը սպառնում է մեզ Ս-300-ով։ Հունաստա՛ն, աչքի անցկացրու պատմությունը։ Եթե դուք հեռուն գնաք, ծանր գին կվճարեք, մի՛ մոռացեք Իզմիրը (Էգեյան ծովի ափին գտնվող թուրքական քաղաք, որը երկար ժամանակ կոչվում էր Զմյուռնիա. խմբ)։ Կղզիների օկուպացիան մեզ չի հետաքրքրում. կգա ժամանակը, և մենք կանենք այն, ինչ պետք է։ Ինչպես սովորաբար ասում եմ` մենք կարող ենք հանկարծակի հայտնվել գիշերը»,-հայտարարել է Էրդողանը` ելույթ ունենելով «Տեկնոֆեստ» փառատոնում։

Ավելի վաղ «CNN Türk» հեռուստաալիքը, վկայակոչելով Թուրքիայի պաշտպանության նախարարության աղբյուրներին, հայտնել էր, որ հունական կողմը Ս-300 ՀՕՊ համակարգեր է գործի դրել թուրքական Ֆ-16 կործանիչներ կալանելու և ուղեկցելու համար: Դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել օգոստոսի 23-ին, թուրքական ինքնաթիռները գտնվել են Ռոդոսից արևմուտք՝ 3 կմ բարձրության վրա:
Ըստ թուրքական ԶԼՄ-ների` չնայած այդ գործողություններին` ինքնաթիռները կատարել են նախատեսված առաջադրանքները և բարեհաջող վերադարձել իրենց կայաններ:
