Քաղաքական հարցերի, իշխանափոխության հարցերի վերաբերյալ որևէ խնդիր չունեմ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ։ Չենք հավաքվում, հարսանիք, կնունք, թաղում չենք գնում, բայց սա է։ Մի փնտրեք ինչ-որ բան, որը կամ չկա, կամ այն չափին չէ, որը ցանկանում եք տեսնել։ Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը՝ անդրադառնալով դիտարկմանը, որ ընդդիմության ներսում կոնսոլիդացիա չունի, հատկապես խոսքը վերաբերում է ՀՀ երկրորդ և երրորդ նախագահներին, նրանց թիմակիցներին։

«Իսկապե՞ս մտածում եք, որ հնարավոր է՝ տարբեր քաղաքական միավորներ միավորել այնպես, որ ներքին հակասություններ չլինեն, դա անհնար բան է։ Դա չի նշանակում, որ հնարավոր չէ միավորվել, «Դիմադրության» շարժման ժամանակ ձեռք ձեռքի տված միասին աշխատել են տարբեր կուսակցություններ։ Դա չի նշանակում, որ իրենց միջև տարբեր տարաձայնություններ ի սպառ բացակայում են, այդպես չի լինում։ Համոզված եմ՝ նույն իշխանական կամ իշխանության հետ առնչվող տարբեր քաղաքական ուժեր ևս ունեն տարբերություններ, գուցե ավելի քիչ է դուրս գալիս նեղ շրջանակից այդ տարաձայնությունները, բայց դրանք կան։

Հիմա կոնկրետ ասում եք՝ ես և երրորդ նախագահը նույն հարթակում չենք կանգնել, որ հայաստանցի-ղարաբաղցի թեման նորից մեջ բերեն, ինչի համար։ Ի վերջո, դա ամենախոցելի թեմաներից է եղել՝ մեր դեմ ուղղված, այնպես է ստացվել, որ մենք արցախցի ենք, մենք բանակի ձևավորման հիմքում էինք կանգնած, մեր անունների հետ կապված է նաև Արցախյան առաջին պատերազմի հաղթանակները։ Մի կողմից՝ մարդկանց վախեցնում են Արցախով, հին ու նոր բաժանող թեզն են կիրառում, հիմա դուք առաջարկում եք, որ մենք այդ թեզի կիրառման համար պատկեր տանք»,- նշեց Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը՝ հավելելով, որ գուցե ձևավորվեն այնպիսի առաջնորդներ՝ ավելի երիտասարդ, որոնք կարող են նաև իրենց փոխարինել, ինքը միայն ուրախ կլինի։

Ինչ վերաբերում է ասպարեզից հեռանալուն, Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը նշեց. «Դուք մի արտահայտություն օգտագործեցիք՝ ասպարեզից չեք գնում, ընդհանրապես բնությունից, թե՞ քաղաքականությունից։ Հիմա ինչ անեմ՝ ես կամ, գոյություն ունեմ, դատավոր Դանիբեկյանը ինձ թույլ էլ չի տալիս, որ երկրից բացակայեմ։ Ինչքան ժամանակ ես շնչեմ, ապրեմ, Հայաստանում լինեմ՝ այդ թեման լինելու է։ Այսպես է լինելու։ Հարց հնչեց՝ ինչու են ձեզնից վախենում։ Ինչ անեմ, գնամ պլաստիկ վիրահատությո՞ւն անեմ, որ ինձնից չվախենա՞ն։ Իմաստությունն այն է, որ դու ամեն ինչ հասկանում ես, բայց դա քո տրամադրությունը չի գցում»։
