Կյանքի 56-րդ տարում մահացել է կատակերգու Ալեքսանդր Պոնոմարենկոն։ Այս մասին հայտնել է հեռուստահաղորդավար Անդրեյ Մալախովը։

Նա նշել է, որ Ալեքսանդր Պոնոմարենկոն «բարի էր, լավ ընկեր, գործընկեր, եղբայր, ոչ կոնֆլիկտային մարդ էր»։

Նոյեմբերի վերջին Ալեքսանդր Պոնոմարենկոն «Малахов» ծրագրի ընթացքում կիսվել է քաղցկեղի դեմ պայքարի մանրամասներով։ Արտիստը ստուդիայում ներկա չէր եղել, նա մնացել էր Դոնի Ռոստովում, որտեղ բուժում էր ստացել։
