Այսօր գեղարվեստական և վավերագրական կինոյի կարկառուն ներկայացուցիչ, ռեժիսոր, սցենարիստ, դերասան, համաշխարհային կինեմատոգրաֆիայի դասական Արտավազդ Փելեշյանի ծննդյան 85-ամյա հոբելյանն է:
 
 
ԿԳՄՍ նախարար Ժաննա Անդրեասյանը և նախարարի տեղակալ Արա Խզմալյանն այցելել են Վարպետին՝ շնորհավորելու և պատվելու նրա վաստակը:
 
«Շատ ուրախ եմ, որ հնարավորություն ունենք վայելելու Ձեր տաղանդն ու գործերը: Հույս ունեմ՝ դեռ երկար ժամանակ կշարունակեք ստեղծագործել ու հարստացնել հայ և համաշխարհային կինոարվեստը»,- ասել է նախարար Ժաննա Անդրեասյանը՝ շնորհավորելով Վարպետին:
 
Ժաննա Անդրեասյանը Փելեշյանին է նվիրել «Համո Բեկնազարյան» եռալեզու (հայերեն, ռուսերեն, անգլերեն) պատկերագիրքը՝ կարևորելով կինոյի երկու հսկաների փոխառնչությունները: Վարպետը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել գնահատանքի համար և հույս հայտնել, որ Համո Բեկնազարյանի հիշատակը հայ կինոյի 100-ամյակի շրջանակում ըստ արժանվույն կգնահատվի։  
 
Նախարար Ժաննա Անդրեասյանն անդրադարձել է նաև վերջին տարիներին հրատարակված Արտավազդ Փելեշյանի հեղինակային գրքերին ու «Բնություն» ֆիլմին՝  ընդգծելով, որ նրա արվեստը մեզ համար արժանի տեղ է ապահովում համաշխարհային ասպարեզում։  
 
 
Արտավազդ Փելեշյան արվեստագետին գնահատանքի խոսք է ասել նաև ԿԳՄՍ նախարարի տեղակալ Արա Խզմալյանը. «Վարպետի վաստակը գնահատելն անհամեստ հավակնություն կլինի: Պարզապես պետք է վայելել նրա ներկայությունը, քանի որ նրա ժամանակակից լինելն արդեն իսկ երջանկություն է: Փելեշյանն այն անունն է, որն իմաստավորում է մեր միջավայրը, մեր գեղարվեստական և հոգևոր իրականությունը, անուն, առանց որի անհնար է պատկերացնել հայ կինեմատոգրաֆիայի պատմությունն ու ընթացքը:
Նա իր ուրույն տեղն ունի կինոկրթության մեջ, և նրա արվեստով ուսուցանում են արտասահմանյան հաստատություններում»:  
 
Նախարարի տեղակալ Արա Խզմալյանը նաև տեղեկացրել է, որ Արտավազդ Փելեշյանի վերջին՝ «Բնություն» ֆիլմը ԿԳՄՍ նախարարության աջակցությամբ ցուցադրվում է տարբեր երկրներում՝ ստանալով մեծ արձագանք:
 
«Արտավազդ Փելեշյանը բնապաշտ է, և նա ամեն ինչ գիտի բնության ուժի ու հավերժության մասին»,- եզրափակել է Ա․ Խզմալյանը:
