Արցախի նախկին պետնախարար  Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Կանայք կյանքի խորհրդանիշ են: Նրանք կյանք են տալիս ու ապրեցնում ամենաբարդ իրավիճակներում: Նրանց մեջ անսահման ուժ ու կամք կա, որը հաճախ անտեսանելի է:
Իրականում ես հիանում եմ հայ կանանց համառությամբ, ուժով, անսպառ նվիրումով ու բացառիկ սկզբունքայնությամբ: Այսօր՝ մեզ համար ստեղծված այս բարդ իրավիճակում, կանայք կողք կողքի կանգնած են տղամարդկանց հետ և պաշտպանում են մեր հայրենիքը, կյանքն ու արժանապատվությունը: Արցախ տեղափոխվելուց ի վեր ինձ անվերջ ոգեշնչում են այստեղ ապրող կանայք՝ իրենց ոգու ուժով, դժվարություններին դիմակայելու կամքով, մեր հաղթանակի հանդեպ հավատով։ Նրանք համարձակություն ունեն պաշտպանելու իրենց իրավունքները և դրա համար օգտագործում են բոլոր լեգիտիմ միջոցները՝ դիմելով միջազգային կազմակերպություններին, բողոքի ցույցեր կազմակերպելով ադրբեջանական ագրեսիայի դեմ և դրսևորելով իրենց հաստատակամությունը՝ մնալու Արցախում և պայքարելու մինչև վերջ։ Նրանք ամեն ինչ արեցին և շարունակում են անել, որպեսզի իրենց երեխաները շարունակեն ստանալ կրթություն անգամ անմարդկային շրջափակման պայմաններում։
 
Սիրելի´ կանայք, իսկապես հիացմունքի է արժանի, թե ինչպես դուք կարող եք միաժամանակ լինել այսքան ուժեղ, անկոտրում և դա համատեղել բացառիկ հմայքի ու կանացիության հետ: Մենք իսկապես պարտավոր ենք ամեն ինչ անել ձեզ անվտանգ, արժանապատիվ ու երջանիկ կյանք ապահովելու համար: Ամենաբարդ պահերին անգամ դրան հասնելու ուժն ու էներգիան մենք ստանում ենք ձեզանից:
 
Խոնարհումս հայրենիքի համար իրենց կյանքը զոհաբերած մեր հերոսների մայրերին, քույրերին, կանանց ու դուստրերին: Մենք պարտավոր ենք կառուցել ապահով ու անվտանգ երկիր, որտեղ կանայք ամենաակտիվ մասնակցությունն ունեն հասարակական կյանքում և մեր ապագայի կերտման գործում։
