Ես մի բան գիտեմ՝ մեզանից յուրաքանչյուրն այսօր միայն գործով, համառ կամքով ու բացառիկ նվիրումով կարող է ապացուցել, որ ունակ ենք շարունակելու նրանց դիմադրությունն ու պայքարը, որ Արցախից մենք երբեք չենք հրաժարվի, որքան էլ փորձեն մեր շուրջ սեղմել օղակը: Այս մասին իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է Արցախի Հանրապետության նախկին պետնախարար  Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը:

«Յոթ տարի առաջ այս օրերին Ադրբեջանը հերթական անգամ ագրեսիայի դիմեց ընդդեմ Արցախի: Քառօրյա պատերազմի օրերին բազմաթիվ նվիրյալներ իրենց կյանքը տվեցին՝ ևս մեկ անգամ ցույց տալով, որ Արցախը հայրենիք է, հենման կետ, որ Արցախը եղել է ու պետք է մնա հայկական: Ինչպիսի բառեր էլ փորձենք ընտրել մեր երախտիքն ու խոնարհումը արտահայտելու հանուն այս հողի իրենց կյանքը զոհաբերած մեր տղաների հանդեպ, դրանք բավական չեն լինի: Նրանց զոհողությունը հանուն այն գաղափարի էր, որ մենք ու մեր երեխաներն ապրենք այս հողի վրա՝ անվտանգ ու ազատ: 

Ցավոք, մենք մեր պայքարը չենք գնահատում, սխալներից ու բացթողումներից ոչ մի կարևոր հետևություն չենք անում: Կարևոր քննարկումները դառնում են միայն ներքաղաքական շահարկման առարկա՝ արժեզրկելով պայքարը, դիմադրությունն ու անձնազոհությունը: Ապրիլյան պատերազմի օրերին, դրանից առաջ ու հետո մեր անձնազոհ տղաները կյանք են դրել հանուն գաղափարի՝ սերունդներին արժանապատիվ ու ազատ կյանք ապահովելու համար: Բավարար կամք դրսևորելով, խելացի գործելով, պայքարի նշանակությունը հասկանալով ու սխալներից դասեր քաղելով միայն կարող ենք ավելի ուժեղ դառնալ: Իսկ անհարկի գնահատականները միմիայն բարդացնում են իրավիճակը՝ մեզ էլ ավելի խոցելի դարձնելով:
