Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը իրավունք չունի որոշում կայացնելու Արցախի ժողովրդի անունից։ Այդ մասին «Дождь» հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է Արցախի «Անվտանգության և զարգացման ճակատի» համակարգող, նախկին պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը։

Մեկնաբանելով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հայտարարությունը Ադրբեջանի տարածքային ամբողջականությունը ճանաչելու և Արցախը Ադրբեջանին թողնելու վերաբերյալ՝ Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը նշել է, թե կան բազմաթիվ սահմանափակումներ, որոնք իրավասություններ չեն տալիս մեկ անձի նման որոշում կայացնելու։ «Գալով իշխանության՝ նա խոստացել էր, որ ոչ մեկ իրավունք չուներ նման որոշում կայացնելու և նման որոշում կայացնելու է միայն ժողովուրդը, ուստի կարծում են, որ այդ հայտարարությունը նրա անձնական կարծիքն է, որը նա փորձում է փաթաթել թե՛ Հայաստանի և թե՛ արցախի ժողովրդի վզին։ Բայց այս որոշումը չի ընդունվելու»,-նշել է Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը՝ համոզմունք հայտնելով, որ մեծ թվով մարդիկ կհամախմբվեն, կպահանջեն հանրաքվե, որ նա ևս մեկ անգամ համոզվի, թե Արցախում և Հայաստանում ապրող ժողովուրդը միահամուռ է հետևյալում, անհնարին է այն, ինչ Փաշինյանն առաջարկում է։

Արցախի նախկին պետնախարարը նաև նշել է, թե Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հակավարկանիշը բացառիկ էր՝ 96%, և կարծում է՝ հիմա հերթական հայտարարությունից հետո, այն դարձել է 100%։ «Ուստի այս հարցում որևէ տարակարծություն չկա և Ազգային ժողովը և Հանրապետության ղեկավարությունը և ամբողջ ժողովուրդը համերաշխ է այն հարցում, որ նման որոշում կայացնելու իրավունք ունի միմիայն Արցախի ժողովուրդը և լեգիտիմորոն ընտրված իշխանույունը, որը ևս չի կարող միանձնյա որոշում կայացնել, այլ միայն Արցախի ժողովրդի հետ համատեղ»,- նշել է Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը։

Հարցին, թե ի՞նչ է կարծում, ինչո՞ւ է Փաշինյանը նման հայտարարություն արել, ինչն է ստիպել, Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը պատասխանել է, թե՝ «Ցավոք չգիտենք այն ամենի մասին, ինչ տեղի է ունենում բանակցությունների կուլիսներում, սակայն մեկ բան կարելի է ասել՝ պատերազմում պարտված մարդուն հոգեբանորեն դժվար է դուրս գալ այս իրավիճակից», չնայած նրան, որ փաշինյանը վերընտրվել է 2021 թվականին, միևնույն է, ըստ Վարդանյանի՝ տեսանելի է, որ նրա վրա այնքան մեծ է ճնշման բեռը, որ նա այդպես էլ իր մեջ չի հաղթահարել այդ պարտվողական տրամադրությունը։

«Նա չի գիտակցում, որ այն ամենն ինչ ինքը ասում է, ոչ միայն պարզապես Ադրբեջանի տարածքային ամբողջականության ճանաչում է, այլ դրան հաջորդելու են բազմաթիվ ճակատագրական գործողություններ, որոնք անհնար են լինելու կանգնեցնել, հետևաբար կա՛մ նա չի հասկանում, թե ինչ է անում, բայց այդ դեպքում իրոք մեծ հարց է ծագում՝ ինչպե՞ս նա կարող է վարչապետ լինել, կամ նա հասկանում է, թե ինչ է անում, իսկ առավել սարսափելի է, քանի որ այն ինչ անում է հանգեցնելու է աղետալի հետևանքների Արցախում ապրող մարդկանց համար, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի համար»,- փաստել է Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը։
