Երեկ մի խումբ մտավորականներ դիմել են ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազ Աննա Վարդապետյանին՝ միջնորդելով վերանայել Հայաստանի պետական սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի գեղարվեստական ղեկավար և գլխավոր դիրիժոր Սերգեյ Սմբատյանի նկատմամբ որպես խափանման միջոց կիրառված կալանավորումը։

Հարգելի գլխավոր դատախազ, Հայաստանի պետական սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի գեղարվեստական ղեկավար և գլխավոր դիրիժոր Սերգեյ Սմբատյանի անվան շուրջ ծավալվող անախորժ տեղեկությունները խոր տարակուսանք են առաջացրել ինչպես ներքին, այնպես էլ միջազգային լսարանի շրջանում՝ հայաստանյան և արտասահմանյան գործընկերների, արվեստի աշխարհի հեղինակավոր գործիչների և Մաեստրո Սերգեյ Սմբատյանի ու Սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի երկրպագուների մոտ: Մենք համոզված ենք, որ դատական գործընթացը կընթանա թյուրիմացությունների պարզաբանման, իսկությունների վերհանման ուղղությամբ, որի արդյունքում Մաեստրո Սմբատյանը հնարավորություն կունենա վերականգնելու իր հայրենանվեր գործունեությունը: Ամենայն հարգանքով օրենքի գերակայության նկատմամբ՝ ցանկանում ենք ընդգծել, որ Մաեստրո Սմբատյանի միջազգային մշակութային ներգրավվածության անխաթարությունը նաև Հայաստանի պետական սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի և Հայաստանի Հանրապետության միջազգային վարկանիշի պահպանման խնդիր է: Նվագախմբի գործունեությունը և այս ընթացքում նախատեսված բոլոր միջազգային հյուրախաղերի և նախագծերի իրագործման խափանումն ու չեղարկումը լուրջ վտանգ է մեր երկրի վարկանիշին միջազգային հանրության շրջանում:

Հաշվի առնելով այս բոլոր հանգամանքները, ինչպես նաև գործի քննությունը բացառապես իրավական ճանապարհով իրականացնելու անհրաժեշտությունը՝ մենք՝ ներքոստորագրյալներս, միջնորդում ենք Սերգեյ Սմբատյանի նկատմամբ որպես խափանման միջոց կիրառված կալանավորումը վերանայել, որպեսզի Հայաստանի պետական սիմֆոնիկ նվագախումբը հնարավորություն ունենա անցնել իր բնականոն գործունեությանը, հայտարարել 2023թ. սեպտեմբերին մեկնարկող նոր համերգաշրջանի և նվագախմբի գալիք հյուրախաղերի մասին և իհարկե շարունակել հայկական մշակույթը հանրահռչակելու և Հայաստանի անունը ամբողջ աշխարհում բարձր պահելու իր մեծ առաքելությունը:
