Կարծես թե մեկ տարի առաջ հավաքած մոտ կես միլիոն ձայները ոստիկանապետի հետ աղոթելու նպատակով օգտագործելուց հետո, Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանի քաղաքական կարիերան պետք է որ հասներ իր գագաթնակետին, քանզի շուրջ կես միլինոն ձայն հավաքած աղոթողքն, ըստ իս, լավագույն դեպքում պետք է հավակնի եկեղեցում արքեպիսկոպոսի կարգավիճակով ինչ-որ թեմի առաջնորդին, բայց ոչ երբեք երկրի նախագահի պաշտոնին: Բայց լռության որոշ շրջանից հետո Րաֆֆիի քաղաքական-հացադուլային գործունեությունը շարունակվեց, և ի վերջո նա իր անհասկանալի տեղը գտավ ոչ իշխանական եռյակում, որտեղ մեր մեջ ասած՝ առանձնապես մի հարգանքի էլ չի արժանանում: Համենայն դեպս, սկզբից էր թվում, թե նրա տեղն այնտեղ անհասկանալի է, քանի որ սկզբունքայնության նշույլներ էր ցուցաբերում: Սակայն երկու հանրահավաքներին նվաստացուցիչ մասնակցությունից հետո նույն քաղաքական միավորման կազմում մնալը ամեն ինչ որոշ չափով հասկանալի դարձրեց, իսկ ԵՏՄ-ի անդամակցության հետ կապված քվեարկությունն ամբողջացրեց պատկերը:
Խնդիրը կողմ կամ դեմ քվեարկելու մեջ չէ, այլ նրանում, որ եռյակի միասնական օրակարգ չունենալուց բողոքող Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանը չկարողացավ նույնիսկ իր կուսակցությունում միասնական օրակարգ ձևավորել, չկարողացավ այնպես անել, որ իր կուսակցության բոլոր ներկայացուցիչները քվեարկեն նույն կերպ և ընդհանրապես՝ սկզբունքային հարցերի շուրջ հանդես գան նույն դիրքորոշմամբ: Նույն ԵՏՄ-ի հետ կապված՝ Զարուհի Փոստանջյանը կողմ քվեարկելն անվանեց դավաճանություն, իսկ Արմեն մարտիրոսյանն էլ ելույթում նշեց, որ դա դավաճանություն չէ, Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանն էլ իր հերթին շեշտեց, որ եռյակի հետ համագործակցությունից դուրս գալու խնդիր չկա: Իսկ ի՞նչ պետք է լինի նման խնդիր լինելու համար, Ծառուկյանը բռնցքամարտի փոխարեն արդեն կարատեի հնարքնե՞ր պիտի կիրառի, թե «Ժառանգության» բոլոր անդամները բոլոր հացերում վերջնականապես պիտի միմյանց հակառակվեն:
Վերջում, իհարկե, ամեն ինչ ընկավ իր տեղը. եթե մարդ չի կարողանում ղեկավարել, նրան մնում է աղոթելը, իսկ եթե աղոթելն էլ արդեն ակտուալ չէ, ապա` բանաստեղծություններ արտասանելն ու ունկնդրելը: Եվ ահա, «Ժառանգության» հանրահավաքը վերածվեց պոեզիայի ժամի: Մեր մեջ ասած՝ այդպես ավելի ճիշտ է, քանի որ 100-200 հոգանոց հավաքույթները ավելի հարմար են ասմունքի երեկոյին, քան քաղաքական հանրահավաքին: Ուղղակի ասմունքի համար կարելի էր ինչ-որ դահլիճ վարձակալել, որ մարդիկ դրսում չսառեին:
