Եվրամիությունը կանգնած է լրջագույն խնդրի առջև։ «Պոլիտիկո» պարբերականի տեղեկություններով արևային վահանակների եվրոպական արտադրողները բացեիբաց հայտարարել են, որ եթե իշխանությունները պաշտպանական միջոցներ չձեռնարկեն, ապա չինական արտադրանքը կոչնչացնի իրենց բիզնեսը հաշված ամիսների, կամ անգամ ամսվա ընթացքում։

Չնայած նրան, որ եվրոպական միությանն անհրաժեշտ է քայլեր ձեռնարկել ածխաթթու գազի արտանետումներից հրաժարվելու ուղղությամբ այն ավելի ու ավելի շատ կախվածության մեջ է հայտնվում Չինաստանից ներմուծումից, մինչդեռ Չինաստանը տնտեսական լրջագույն մրցակից է և ինչն ավելի վատ է համակարգային հակառակորդ:

Մի կողմից Եվրամիությունը միլիարդավոր եվրոներ է հատկացնում ողջ Եվրոպայի տարածքում արևային էլեկտրակայանների արագացված տեղակայման ուղղությամբ, մյուս կողմից այդ նպատակի և ծավալների համար վահանակներ և մարտկոցներ հնարավոր է գնել բացառապես Չինաստանից, այդ թվում այն շրջաններից, որտեղ քաղաքական լուրջ խնդիրներ կան և իրավիճակը չափազանց մտահոգիչ են համարում՝ նշելով, որ Չինաստանն արտահանումների այնպիսի ծավալի է հասել, որ եվրոպական արտադրողները պարզապես չեն կարողանում դիմանալ որևէ մրցակցության։

Ընդսմին, մի քանի խոշոր արտադրողներ պարզ նշել են, որ եթե առաջիկա շաբաթների ընթացքում չինական արտադրանքի վրա չափազանց բարձր մաքսատուրքեր չդրվեն, ապա իրենք կփակեն գործարանները և ամբողջ արտադրական հոսքը կտեղափոխեն Հյուսիսային և Հարավային Ամերիկա, որտեղ իրավիճակը փոքր-ինչ ավելի հարմար է Չինաստանի դեմ մրցակցելու համար։
