Քաղաքական-հասարակական գործիչ, «Համախմբում» շարժման խորհրդի անդամ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.

Այսօր Հայոց ցեղասպանության տարելիցն է: Յուրաքանչյուր տարի այս օրը ես բարձրացել եմ Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիր՝ ոգեկոչելու մեր անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակը, և հատուցում պահանջելու նրանց արյան և մեր կորուսյալ հայրենիքի համար:
Այսօր ես ավանդույթից կշեղվեմ, և Ծիծեռնակաբերդ բարձրանալու փոխարեն կգնամ Տավուշի սահմանագիծ: Այսօր Հայող ցեղասպանությունը շարունակվում է մեր Արցախում, որը հայաթափվել և թալանվում է թշնամու կողմից, հերթում Տավուշն է, որի դարպասները թշնամու տեղական գործակալները ցանկանում են անարյուն բացել նրա առաջ, և նրան ներս թողնել մեր անառիկ ամրոցը:
Այսօր մենք պետք հնարավոր ամենն անենք՝ անառիկ պահելու Տավուշը, և փակելու թշնամու գազազած ախորժակը, որն այլապես չի բավարարվելու ոչ մի բանի առաջ, և չի կանգնի, մինչև չհոշոտի ողջ հայոց պետությունը: Այսօր մենք պետք է կանխենք նոր ցեղասպանությունը և նոր հայրենազրկումը, այլապես 100 տարի հետո միայն Գլենդեյլում ու Կրասնոդարում կկարողանանք նշել ցեղասպանության տարելիցը, ու ողբալ հայի թափառական բախտը:
Հայի ապագան իր ձեռքում է այսօր, իր միասնականության, կամքի և կորովի: Այս լուսանկարը արվել է Տավուշի նույն սահմանագծում 2018-ի փետրվարին, կամակատարների այս վարչախմբի իշխանության գալուց ընդամենը երկու ամիս առաջ: Այն ժամանակ մենք դեռ միասնական էինք, և թշնամին վախենում էր մեզնից, այս հատվածում բոլոր գյուղերը զինված էին և կռվի պատրաստ: Հիմա ժամանակն է վերականգնելու այդ միասնական ոգին, հակահարված տալու թշնամուն ու նրա տեղական կամակատարներին, և վերջ տալու մեր դեմ ծրագրավորած նոր ցեղասպանությանը:
Աստված պահապան մեր հայրենիքին, նրա բոլոր նվիրյալ պաշտպաններին, և հավերժ հիշատակ նրա համար իրենց կյանքը տվածներին:
