Սիրելի´ հայրենակիցներ,
Այսօր մենք տոնում ենք մեր պատմության ամենակարևոր իրադարձություններից մեկը՝ Առաջին Հանրապետության հիմնադրման օրը:
1918 թվականին` 1915 թ.-ի սարսափելի Ցեղասպանությունից ընդամենը 3 տարի անց, հայերը կարողացան թուրքական բանակի դեմ հաղթանակ տանել Սարդարապատի, Բաշ-Ապարանի, Ղարաքիլիսայի հերոսամարտերում և պետություն ստեղծել այն օրերին, երբ թվում էր, թե մեր ինքնությունը կորցնելու մեծ վտանգի առաջ ենք։
Այս իրադարձությունը ցույց տվեց, որ հայը կարող է, երբ հավատում է իր սեփական ուժերին, երբ պաշտպանում է սեփական հողը, երբ միասնական ու հաստատակամ է:
Այսօր էլ, երբ մեր երկիրն օրհասական դրության մեջ է, երբ ամեն օր մեզ դրսից սպառնում, իսկ ներսից վախեցնում են նոր պատերազմով, որպեսզի հնարավորինս լուռ ու հնազանդ լինենք, որպեսզի վերջնական մոռացության տանք մեր ինքնությունը, արժեքները, մենք չպետք է մոռանանք, որ կոտրված վիճակում ոտքի կանգնած ու Սարդարապատում որոշիչ հաղթանակ տարած հայի սերունդներն ենք, որ որքան էլ մեզ համոզեն, թե թույլ ենք, անկարող ենք, ոչ մի դեպքում չպետք է մոռանանք, որ հայը որքան էլ կոտրված է եղել, միշտ կարողացել է ոտքի կանգնել և առաջ շարժվել։
Այսօրվա հայն էլ կարող է և պետք է ամուր պահի իր հողը, պաշտպանի իր ինքնությունն ու արժեքները, զորացնի ու զարգացնի Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը, որպեսզի շենանա հայկական հողը և հայ ժողովրդի ապագան լինի հուսալի ու պայծառ:
