Exclusive Georgian Music Concert in Yerevan

The National Center of Chamber Music and the Embassy of Georgia in Armenia present the 20th concert of the 1900+ project, dedicated to 20th-century and contemporary Georgian music. The concert will feature the Honored Artist of Armenia, pianist Hayk Melikyan, and is supported by the Lexus brand.
This unique event will take place on May 31, the last day of spring, at the Komitas Chamber Music House. The concert marks the 15th anniversary of the 1900+ project, offering Armenian music enthusiasts an exceptional opportunity to hear the Armenian and world premieres of works by Georgian composers.
"1900+ holds significant educational value. Over the past 15 years, we have explored contemporary music from various nations. The reality surrounding us is incredibly rich. The 20th-century and contemporary music of our neighboring country is both familiar and captivating. I eagerly await the chance to present it to my beloved Yerevan audience," said pianist Hayk Melikyan.
The concert will also feature the attendance of young and renowned Georgian composer Lasha Kharchelauri, whose work will be performed in Armenia for the first time.
