Ռուսաստանն իր միջուկային զինանոցը մեծացնելու մասին ԱՄՆ-ի հայտարարություններին կպատասխանի իր միջուկային դոկտրինին համապատասխան։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Մարիա Զախարովան։

Մեկ օր առաջ՝ հունիսի 7-ին, ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը նոր հանձնարարական է ստորագրել Վաշինգտոնի կողմից միջուկային զենք օգտագործելու պայմանների վերաբերյալ։ Ռուսաստանին, Չինաստանին և Հյուսիսային Կորեային զսպելու անհրաժեշտության պատճառով ԱՄՆ-ն «այլ ելք չունի», քան շտկել իր միջուկային ռազմավարությունը, ըստ Սպիտակ տան Ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի սպառազինությունների վերահսկման, զինաթափման և զենքի չտարածման գծով ավագ տնօրեն Պրնայ Վադդիի:

«Նախագահը երեկ ամեն ինչ ասաց. կա միջուկային դոկտրին։ Եթե ​​այն բարելավելու անհրաժեշտություն լինի, ճշգրտումներ կկատարվեն։ Կան համապատասխան զինանոցներ։ Կարծում եմ, որ սա Սպիտակ տան արձագանքն էր իրենց հանրության այն հարցերին, թե ինչու է Միացյալ Նահանգներն ավելի քիչ այդ զինանոցները», - ասել է Զախարովան :

Զախարովան ընդգծել է, որ Վաշինգտոնը «այլևս չի հասկանում, թե ինչ են ասում և ինչու», և նաև հիշեցրել է, որ Մոսկվան երբեք չի հրաժարվել միջուկային այլ տերությունների հետ երկխոսությունից։

ՌԴ ԱԳՆ ներկայացուցիչը նշել է, որ Սպիտակ տունը պետք է նման բաներ հայտարարի իր ազգային շահերի հետ կապված, այլ ոչ թե ելնելով ներկա քաղաքական իրավիճակից։ Նրա խոսքով՝ Վաշինգտոնն օգտագործում է Ռուսաստանին առնչվող թեմա՝ ներքին խնդիրներ լուծելու համար, ինչը «մատնանշում է ԱՄՆ-ի թերարժեքությունը»։
