Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարի պաշտոնակատար Ալի Բաղերի Կանին և ՌԴ ԱԳՆ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Իգոր Խովաևը Թեհրանում կայացած բանակցություններում քննարկել են իրավիճակը Հարավային Կովկասում և դեմ արտահայտվել տարածաշրջանի գործերում արտաքին խաղացողների միջամտությանը: Այս մասին հայտնում է Իսլամական Հանրապետության դիվանագիտական վարչությունը։

«ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարարի հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Իգոր Խովաևի հետ հանդիպմանը ես բացատրեցի Իրանի դիրքորոշումը տարածաշրջանի խնդիրների վերաբերյալ՝ նշելով Կովկասում որոշ արտատարածաշրջանային խաղացողների առկայության ապակայունացնող հետևանքները: Կովկասում խաղաղությունն ու կայունությունը պահպանելու համար անհրաժեշտ է ավելի մեծ համակարգում և համագործակցություն Իրանի, Ռուսաստանի և տարածաշրջանային այլ կառավարությունների միջև», - X-ում գրել է Իրանի ԱԳՆ ղեկավարը:

Ինչպես նշվում է Իսլամական Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարարության թելեգրամյան ալիքում հրապարակված հաղորդագրության մեջ, Բաղերի Կանին ասել է, որ «կովկասյան տարածաշրջանի գործերին արտաքին միջամտության աճը պահանջում է ռազմավարական համակարգում և մշտական խորհրդատվություն Իրանի և Ռուսաստանի պաշտոնյաների միջև»:

Այս առումով, նրա խոսքով, «կարևոր է առավելագույնս օգտագործել տարածաշրջանային մեխանիզմների ներուժը, ինչպիսին է «3+3» հարթակը (Ադրբեջան, Հայաստան, Վրաստան, Իրան, Ռուսաստան և Թուրքիա)՝ արձագանքելու համար տարածաշրջանի առջև ծառացած մարտահրավերներին»։

Խովաևն ընդգծել է Մոսկվայի և Թեհրանի տեսակետների նմանությունը Հարավային Կովկասի խնդիրների վերաբերյալ և «այս առումով նշել է երկու երկրի իշխանությունների միջև սերտ և մշտական փոխգործակցության և համակարգման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ պայքարելու Անդրկովկասի գործերում արտատարածաշրջանային խաղացողների միջամտության դեմ»։

Հարավային Կովկասում համագործակցության վեցակողմ ձևաչափի նախաձեռնությունը 2020 թվականի վերջին առաջ քաշեցին Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի առաջնորդներ Իլհամ Ալիևն ու Թայիփ Էրդողանը, որը հետագայում անվանվեց «երեք գումարած երեք»։ Ռուսաստանը և Իրանը ողջունեցին այս գաղափարը, և Հայաստանը նույնպես միացավ այդ ձևաչափին։ Վրաստանը հայտարարեց, որ չի աջակցի նախաձեռնությանը։
