Լյուքսեմբուրգում այսօր պաշտոնապես մեկնարկել են Եվրամիությանն Ուկրաինայի անդամակցության բանակցությունները: Դրանց առաջին փուլը կողմերի միջկառավարական համաժողովն է, որին ժամանել է 13 հոգուց բաղկացած ուկրաինական պատվիրակությունը։ Այն գլխավորում է Ուկրաինայի փոխվարչապետ Օլգա Ստեֆանիշինան: Եվրամիությունից համաժողովին մասնակցում են բոլոր 27 երկրների ԱԳ նախարարները, պատվիրակությունը ղեկավարում է ԵՄ Խորհրդում նախագահող Բելգիայի ԱԳ նախարար Հաջա Լահբիբը:

Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելն Ուկրաինայի և Մոլդովայի հետ ԵՄ անդամակցության բանակցությունների մեկնարկից առաջ հանդես է եկել հայտարարությամբ, նշել՝ պատմական իրադարձության է ականատես լինում։

«Դա բարեփոխումների անցկացման ուղղությամբ Ուկրաինայի և Մոլդովայի հսկայական ջանքերի արդյունքն է։ Երբ ժողովրդի կամքը հարգվում է, հեռատես ղեկավարությունը հաջողության է հասնում, իսկ ժողովրդավարությունը գործնականում կիրառվում է, մենք տեսնում ենք իրական առաջընթացի պտուղները»,- ասել է Միշելը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ Ուկրաինայի ջանքերն է՛լ ավելի հիացմունքի են արժանի՝ հաշվի առնելով պատերազմական իրավիճակը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ Ուկրաինան և Մոլդովան պետք է շարունակեն իրենց աշխատանքը ինստիտուտների ամրապնդման, կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի և տնտեսական կայունության բարձրացման ուղղությամբ, որպեսզի համապատասխանեն ԵՄ լիիրավ անդամակցության խիստ չափանիշներին: Միշելն ընդգծել է, որ Եվրամիությունն իր ինստիտուտների և անդամ պետությունների միջոցով պատրաստ է աջակցել Ուկրաինային և Մոլդովային այդ ճանապարհի յուրաքանչյուր փուլում։
