Ցեղասպանության ժխտումը հղի է նոր ողբերգություններով և նաև սրանով է պայմանավորված, որ մեծ թվով երկրներ, դրանց խորհրդարաններ ոչ միայն դատապարտել, ճանաչել են Թուրքիայի կողմից Ցեղասպանության իրականացումը, այլ տարաբնույթ բանաձևեր են ընդունել:

ՀՀ-ում ԱԳ նախարարի կարգավիճակ ունեցողի այն հայտարարությունը, թե «Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչումը երկրի թիվ մեկ առաջնահերթություն չէ, իսկ ցեղասպանությունը, պատմական իրադարձությունների ուսումնասիրելը կամ դա թիվ մեկ առաջնահերթություն դարձնելը, անշուշտ, ԱԳՆ օրակարգ չէ», խոսում է ոչ միայն գործող իշխանության` թուրքական առաջնահերթություններով առաջնորդվելու, այլ Հայաստանի անվտանգությունը նոր հարվածի տակ դնելու մասին:
