Հայաստանի իշխանությունները պնդում են, որ Երևանը չի դիմել Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության գագաթնաժողովը Երևանի փոխարեն Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում անցկացնելու խնդրանքով։ ՌԴ նախագահի օգնական Յուրի Ուշակովը հայտարարել էր, թե դեկտեմբերի 25-ին Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում տեղի կունենա Եվրասիական տնտեսական բարձրագույն խորհրդի նիստը։ Գագաթնաժողովը կղեկավարի ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։

«Հայկական կողմի խնդրանքով՝ հանդիպումը կազմակերպվել է Ռուսաստանի տարածքում, թեև այդ հանդիպումը նախագահելու է ՀՀ վարչապետ Փաշինյանը»,- ասել էր Ուշակովը՝ հավելելով, որ հրավերներն արդեն ուղարկված են։ ՀՀ ԱԳՆ խոսնակ Անի Բադալյանը, մեկնաբանելով այս հայտարարությունը, նշել էր, թե ԵԱՏՄ շրջանակներում գործող կանոնակարգով նախատեսված չէ, որ Եվրասիական տնտեսական բարձրագույն խորհրդի նիստն անպայմանորեն անց է կացվում ԵԱՏՄ կանոնադրական մարմիններում նախագահող անդամ պետությունում: «Համապատասխանաբար, Եվրասիական տնտեսական բարձրագույն խորհրդի նիստերի անցկացման կարգի՝ հաջորդ հերթական նիստի անցկացման ժամկետների և վայրի մասին որոշումն ընդունվում է դրան նախորդող նիստի ընթացքում: Տվյալ դեպքում՝ Եվրասիական տնտեսական բարձրագույն խորհրդի՝ 2024 թ. մայիսի 8-ին ք. Մոսկվայում կայացած նիստի ընթացքում անդամ երկրների ղեկավարների կողմից որոշում է ընդունվել հաջորդ հերթական նիստն անցկացնել ընթացիկ տարվա դեկտեմբերին Սանկտ Պետեբուրգում»,- ասել էր նա։

Ամեն դեպքում, Ուշակովի այս հայտարարությունն ու գագաթնաժողովը Երևանում չանցկացնելու որոշումը քաղաքական խնդիրներ է առաջացնում։ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները նաև այս օրերին չեն մասնակցում Աստանայում ընթացող ՀԱՊԿ գագաթնաժողովներին։

Այսօր մեկնարկել է ԱԳ և ՊՆ նախարարների, Անվտանգության խորհուրդների քարտուղարների հավաքը, որին, ինչպես և անցած տարի, մեր երկիրը չի մասնակցում․ ՀՀ գործող վարչապետն էլ չի մասնակցի ՀԱՊԿ երկրների ղեկավարների հավաքին։

Նախօրեին Մոսկվայում կայացել է ԱՊՀ անդամ պետությունների անվտանգության մարմինների և հետախուզական ծառայությունների ղեկավարների նիստը։ Հայաստանի արտաքին հետախուզության ծառայության (ԱՀԾ) պետ Քրիստիննե Գրիգորյանը չի մասնակցել այդ նիստին՝ աշխատանքային հրատապ խնդիրներով պայմանավորված։ Միևնույն ժամանակ ծառայությունից տեղեկացրել են, որ նիստին մասնակցել է ծառայության ներկայացուցիչն՝ առանց անուն նշելու։
