Քաղաքական գործիչները սպառվելու հատկություն ունեն: Անկախ ձեռքբերումների մասշտաբից՝ նրանք ունենում են աստեղային ժամ և մարում են՝ ինչպես բնության մեջ յուրաքանչյուր երևույթ: Այն գործիչները, ովքեր կամք են ունենում՝ ճիշտ ժամանակին հեռանալու, պատմության մեջ պահպանում են ուժեղի, հզորի և առաջնորդի կերպարները: Նրանք, ովքեր կրկին փայլատակելու հույսով շարունակում են քարշ տալ իրենց գոյությունը քաղաքական դաշտում, ի վերջո հայտնվում են ծիծաղելի իրավիճակում և իրենց քաղաքական կարիերան ավարտում են անփառունակ կերպով:
Անցած նախագահական ընտրություններում իր աստեղային ժամը սպառած Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանը շարունակեց շատերի արատավոր վարքագիծը և իր կռիվը աղոթքով եզրափակելուց հետո կամք չունեցավ արժանապատիվ կերպով լքելու խաղադաշտը: Տարբեր ֆորմատներում շարունակելով պայքարի իմիտացիան՝ նա վերջնականապես սպառվեց այն աստիճան, որ իր հրավիրած հանրահավաքները մարդաքանակով չափելի էին բացառապես Հայրիկյանի մանրահավաքներին: Քանակը քանակ, բայց որ ինտելեկտուալ Րաֆֆին սպառվեց բոլոր ասպեկտներով՝ ինձ համար, իսկապես, ցավալի էր:
Գյումրիում ունեցած իր ելույթում հայտնի գովազդի հայերեն թարգմանությունը առանց հեղինակային հղման որպես գյումրեցիներին ձոն ներկայացնելը, ցավոք, լուրջ հարված էր ինտելեկտուալ գործչի իմիջին: Արդյո՞ք քաղաքական զինանոցը սպառելով՝ Րաֆֆին նաև ինտելեկտուալ զինանոցն էր սպառել: Մի՞թե արժեր ազդեցիկ, ոսկեղենիկ խոսքեր ասելու համար գրագողության դիմել, և մի՞թե դա հարիր էր երբևիցե Հայաստանում ամենամեծ քաղաքական պիկը արձանագրած գործչին: Իհարկե ոչ: Ցավոք, սրանք քաղաքական հոգեվարքի, մարող քաղաքական լիդերի նախանշաններ են:
Երբ քաղաքական գործիչը անելիք չունի՝ դեռ կարելի է հասկանալ, անելիք մի օր կգտնվի, բայց երբ ասելիք չունի՝ հեռանալու ժամանակն է... Արժանապատիվ, թեկուզ արդեն ուշացած, բայց դեռևս դրական կերպարով հեռանալու ժամանակը...
