ԱՄՆ-ն մանրամասներ է հաղորդել Եմենի մայրաքաղաքի վրա գիշերային ավիահարվածների մասին

Կարմիր ծովի վրա ամերիկյան կործանիչ է խոցվել, ըստ երևույթին, «բարեկամական կրակի» հետևանքով։

ԱՄՆ կենտրոնական հրամանատարության (CENTCOM) տվյալներով, ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի F/A-18 Hornet կործանիչի անձնակազմի երկու անդամները կատապուլտով բարեհաջող ցած են նետվել, նրանցից մեկը թեթև վնասվածքներ է ստացել:

ԱՄՆ կենտրոնական հրամանատարությունն իր հայտարարության մեջ հաստատել է Կարմիր ծովի վրա «բարեկամական կրակի» միջադեպը։

«USS Gettysburg հրթիռային հածանավը, որը մտնում է USS Harry S Truman ավիակիր հարվածային խմբի մեջ, սխալմամբ կրակ է բացել և հարվածել F/A-18 ինքնաթիռին, որը օդ էր բարձրանում USS Harry S Truman-ի տախտակամածից», - ասվում է հայտարարության մեջ։

Միջադեպը տեղի է ունեցել այն բանից հետո, երբ ԱՄՆ-ն մի շարք ավիահարվածներ է հասցրել Եմենի մայրաքաղաք Սանային։ Թիրախը, ըստ ԱՄՆ Զինված ուժերի, եղել են Եմենի հութիների հրթիռային պահեստներն ու հրամանատարական օբյեկտները։ ԱՄՆ-ի կենտրոնական հրամանատարությունը հայտարարել է, որ Կարմիր ծովի վրա նաև հութիների մի քանի անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր և հականավային թևավոր հրթիռ է խոցել:

Ըստ CENTCOM-ի հայտարարության, Սանայում թիրախներին հարվածները նպատակ են ունեցել «ձախողել  և թուլացնել  հութիների գործողությունները, ինչպիսիք են հարձակումները ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի ռազմանավերի և առևտրային նավերի վրա Կարմիր ծովի հարավում, Բաբ ալ-Մանդեբում և Ադենի ծոցում»:
