Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն արտգործնախարարին հանձնարարել է գույքագրել Արտգործնախարարությունում առկա բանակցային թղթերը, և փաթեթի հնարավոր հրապարակումը Հայաստանի պետական անվտանգության շահերի դիտանկյունից քննարկելուց և գնահատելուց հետո որոշում կկայացվի այն հրապարակել/չհրապարակելու մասին։ Այդ մասին «Ազատության» հարցմանն ի պատասխան՝ փոխանցել են վարչապետի աշխատակազմից։

Անցած տարեվերջին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին հարցրել էին՝ պատրա՞ստ է հրապարակել մինչև իր պաշտոնավորումը և նաև իր պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում ղարաբաղյան խնդրի կարգավորմանը վերաբերող պաշտոնական փաստաղթղթերը, որպեսզի հանրությունն առանց քաղաքական շահարկումների, կոնկրետ փաստերի հետ ծանոթանալով ինքը հետևություններ անի։ Այդպիսի կոչով հանդես էին եկել հանրային տարբեր գործիչներ։ Նախորդ տարեվերջին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին նման կոչով դիմել էր նաև առաջին նախագահ Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանը՝ բանավիճելու փոխարեն նրան առաջարկելով հրապարակել ղարաբաղյան բանակցություններին վերաբերող բոլոր փաստաթղթերը։

Փաշինյանն ինքն էր նախկին նախագահներին առաջարկել բանավիճել իր հետ, որից հետո երեքն էլ կոշտ մերժել էին։ Փաշինյանը, կարծես, մտադիր չէ հանդարտվել, և այժմ ցանկանում է հրապարակել փաստաթղթերը։ Թե դրանց մեջ ինչ պետական գաղտնիքներ կան, գործող վարչախմբի պարագլխին բնավ չի հուզում։ Նրա թիվ մեկ հոգսն այսօր ամեն գնով իշխանությունը պահելն է, իսկ պետության շահերին վնաս հասցնելու առումով Փաշինյանը երբեք էլ կարմիր գծեր չի ունեցել։
