Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ: ՀՀ կառավարության աշխատակազմը բավարարվել է հակիրճ հաղորդագրությամբ, նշել, թե զրուցակիցները քննարկել են Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությունում Հայաստանի նախագահության արդյունքները, առաջիկա անելիքները ԵԱՏՄ շրջանակներում, ինչպես նաև Հայաստան-Ռուսաստան երկկողմ օրակարգի մի շարք հարցեր:

Կրեմլի հաղորդագրությունն ավելի ընդարձակ է։ Ռուսական կողմը նշում է, որ հեռախոսազրույցը կայացել է հայկական կողմի նախաձեռնությամբ և որ քննարկվել են ինտեգրացիոն համագործակցության հետագա խորացման հրատապ հարցեր, առաջին հերթին էներգետիկ ոլորտում, նշվել են ԵԱՏՄ շրջանակներում գործնական օգուտները, այդ թվում՝ Հայաստանի տնտեսության համար։ Նշվում է, որ Փաշինյանը պարզաբանել է ԵՄ-ի հետ հարաբերությունների համատեքստում Երևանի վերջին քայլերը, իսկ Պուտինը տվել է համապատասխան մեկնաբանություններ և գնահատականներ։ Թե ինչ գնահատականների և մեկնաբանությունների մասին է խոսքը, Ռուսաստանի նախագահի գրասենյակը չի մանրամասնում։

Ուշագրավ է, որ Փաշինյանը Պուտինին զանգել է Մոսկվայում ՌԴ և Իրանի նախագահների հանդիպումից առաջ։ Պուտինն ու Փեզեշքիանը երկար բանակցել են, ապա ռազմավարական գործընկերության մեծ պայմանագիր են ստորագրել։ Հանդպմանը նաև անդրադարձել են Հարավային Կովկասին, արձանագրել, որ արտատարածաշրջանային ուժերի ներկայությունը վտանգում է երկու երկրների շահերը։ Իսկ արտատարածաշրջանային ուժերին Հարավային Կովկաս բերում է հենց ՀՀ գործող իշխանությունը՝ վտանգներ ստեղծելով թե՛ Ռուսաստանի, թե՛ Իրանի համար։

Բնական է, որ Փաշինյանը փորձելու է համոզել Մոսկվային և Թեհրանին, որ իր քայլերը նրանց դեմ չեն, բայց երկու մայրաքաղաքներից հնչող արձագանքները վկայում են, որ այդ խոսքերին ոչ ոք չի հավատում։ Արևմուտքին հաճոյանալու՝ Փաշինյանի քայլերը նոր աղետներ են բերելու Հայաստանի գլխին։
