Ադրբեջանի այս գործողությունները նպատակ ունեն կոտրելու հայի կամքը և հայ ժողովրդին․ Նաիրի Սարգսյան

«Հայաստանը ես եմ» նախաձեռնության ղեկավար Նաիրի Սարգսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.
 
1988 թվականի փետրվարի 27-29-ը Սումգայիթում ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների թողտվությամբ և կազմակերպմամբ իրականացված հայերի զանգվածային ջարդերը անջնջելի սպի են հայ ժողովրդի պատմության մեջ։
 
Այս ոճրագործությունը հանգեցրեց տասնյակ հայերի սպանության, հարյուրավորների վիրավորման և շուրջ 18,000 հայերի բռնի տեղահանման։ Ցավոք, այդ հանցագործությունները մինչ օրս չեն ստացել համարժեք միջազգային դատապարտում, իսկ կազմակերպիչները մնացին անպատիժ։
 
Այսօր, ավելի քան երեք տասնամյակ անց, Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է իր հակահայկական քաղաքականությունը։ Արցախի ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարության անդամները, մի շարք հայ զինվորականներ Ադրբեջանում պահվում են որպես պատանդ, ենթարկվում են ապօրինի կալանքի, նվաստացումների և կեղծ դատավարությունների, կոպտորեն խախտվում են միջազգային իրավունքն ու մարդու հիմնարար իրավունքները և սա հայ ժողովրդի ամոթն է։
 
Ադրբեջանի այս գործողությունները նպատակ ունեն կոտրելու հայի կամքը և հայ ժողովրդին։
 
Մենք խստորեն դատապարտում ենք Ադրբեջանի կողմից էթնիկ զտման և հակահայ քաղաքականությունը։ Կոչ ենք անում միջազգային հանրությանը, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան կազմակերպություններին և բոլոր համախոհներին արձագանքել այս անարդարություններին և ձեռնարկել անհրաժեշտ քայլեր՝ պաշտպանելու հայ ժողովրդի իրավունքներն ու ազատությունները։
 
Հիշելով Սումգայիթի զոհերին՝ պարտավոր ենք պայքարել արդարության համար և թույլ չտալ, որ նման ողբերգություններ կրկնվեն։
