«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Մինչ Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները սարսափահար են լինում հենց միայն Ղարաբաղ, առավել ևս՝ Արցախ բառերից, Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած միջոցառումներից մեկն օրերս սկսվել է ոչ միայն Հայաստանի Հանրապետության, այլև Արցախի Հանրապետության օրհներգերով: Խոսքը «Համահայկական միասնության խորհուրդ» միավորման հիմնադիր համաժողովի մասին է, որով, ըստ էության, հայտարարվեց նոր ուժի ստեղծման մասին:

Հիշեցնենք, որ այս Խորհրդի ձևավորման նախաձեռնությունը պատկանում է «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ, գեներալ-մայոր Արշակ Կարապետյանին ու «Հայոց աշխարհազոր» ռազմաքաղաքական միավորման խորհրդի նախագահ Ալբերտ Բազեյանին: Համաժողովը բավական մարդաշատ է եղել, ներկա են գտնվել մի քանի տասնյակ ազգային քաղաքական և հասարակական կազմակերպությունների, հայրենակցական միությունների, մշակութային և մարզական միությունների, հիմնադրամների, գիտական և բարեգործական միությունների ներկայացուցիչներ և անհատ գործիչներ: Ընդ որում, «Փաստի» տեղեկություններով, Խորհրդին միանալու ցանկություն ունեցողների քանակն այնքան շատ է եղել, որ ստիպված են եղել դահլիճում հավելյալ աթոռներ ապահովել:

Համաժողովի ժամանակ բավականին սուր ելույթներ են եղել, ներկաները քննադատել են ներկա իշխանությունների գործունեությունը, իրականացվող ներքին ու արտաքին քաղաքականությունը՝ այն որակելով որպես «թրքահաճո»:

«Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ Արշակ Կարապետյանն ասել է, որ հայ ժողովուրդն այսօր ունի լուրջ անվտանգային խնդիր և կանգնած է պետականությունը կորցնելու շեմին: «Լուծումը հստակ է՝ լինել ակտիվ, համախմբվել ազգային գաղափարների շուրջ՝ անկախ քաղաքական հայացքներից, ու իրականացնել իշխանափոխություն»:

Ալբերտ Բազեյանն իր հերթին նշել է, որ ձևավորում են այլընտրանք այս իշխանություններին ու եղանակները տաքանալուն պես ոտքի են հանելու մեր ժողովրդին՝ «հեռացնելու այս ապազգային իշխանությանը»:
