Լեհաստանն իր քաղաքացիներին կոչ է անում առնվազն երեք օրվա պաշարներ հավաքել՝ պատերազմի կամ այլ ճգնաժամի պատրաստվելու համար, հայտարարել է ներքին գործերի փոխնախարար Վեսլավ Լեսնյակեւիչը:
Լեսնյակևիչի խոսքով ՝ յուրաքանչյուր քաղաքացի պետք է հնարավորություն ունենա առնվազն երեք օր ապրել առանց պետության օգնության պատերազմի կամ այլ ծայրահեղ իրավիճակի դեպքում: Նա լեհերին կոչ է արել հավաքել այնպիսի պաշարներ, ինչպիսիք են ջուրը, դեղորայքը, սննդամթերքը և մարտկոցները։

Մարդիկ նաև պետք է ձեռք բերեն տրանզիստորային ռադիոընդունիչներ արտակարգ իրավիճակների ժամանակ հաղորդակցության համար։
Լեհաստանի նախարարությունները կհամագործակցեն ճգնաժամի նախապատրաստման ուղեցույցի ստեղծման հարցում, որը հիմնված կլինի Շվեդիայում թողարկված նմանատիպ բուկլետների վրա։
Անցյալ տարվա վերջին Շվեդիան սկսեց տարածել բուկլետներ՝ "ճգնաժամի կամ պատերազմի դեպքում" վերնագրով։ Չնայած Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմից ի վեր գրքույկը բազմիցս վերահրատարակվել է, անցյալ տարվա տպաքանակը երկու անգամ մեծ է եղել նախորդից, ինչը պետք է արտացոլի անվտանգության հետ կապված մտահոգությունները՝ կապված Ուկրաինայի հակամարտության հետ: Ֆինլանդիան, Նորվեգիան և Դանիան հրապարակել են նմանատիպ նյութեր, որպեսզի սկսեն իրենց բնակչությանը նախապատրաստել հիպոթետիկ պատերազմի։
Չորեքշաբթի օրը Լեհաստանի պաշտպանության փոխնախարար Պավել Բեյդան հայտարարեց Բելառուսի և Ռուսական Կալինինգրադի էքսկլավի հետ երկրի սահմանները ականապատելու պլանների մասին՝ ներկայացնելով Ռուսաստանի հնարավոր հարձակման վերաբերյալ մտահոգությունները:
Մոսկվան բազմիցս մերժել է Արևմուտքի հայտարարություններն այն մասին, որ Ռուսաստանը ցանկանում է հարձակվել ՆԱՏՕ-ի կամ ԵՄ-ի վրա։
