«Մեր քաղաքը» դաշինքը գլխավորող Մարտուն Գրիգորյանը դեռ չի արձագանքել Գյումրիի քաղաքապետի թեկնածու Վարդան Ղուկասյանին, որը ֆեյսբուքյան գրառմամբ դիմել էր Գրիգորյանին՝ իրեն աջակցելու հարցում նրանից հստակություն ակնկալելով: «Որպեսզի Գյումրին ունենա ընդդիմադիր քաղաքապետ, Մարտուն Գրիգորյանը պետք է հետևի Ռուբեն Մխիթարյանի ու Կարեն Սիմոնյանի օրինակին և հստակ հայտարարի, որ կքվեարկի ամենաշատ ընդդիմադիր քվե ստացած թեկնածուին», - գրել էր Ղուկասյանը:

Նախօրեին Գրիգորյանը կարճ գրառում էր արել, թե «ՔՊ-ն Գյումրիում քաղաքապետ չի ունենալու՝ դա հաստատ է»: Բայց թե ինչ սցենարով է պատրասվում իր այս հայտարարությունն իրականություն դարձնել, չէր բացատրել: Հանրապետական պատգամավորը բավական բարդ վիճակում է, Ղուկասյանի և Գրիգորյանների կլանի միջև թշնամությունը մի քանի տասնամյակի պատմություն ունի, և Մարտուն Գրիգորյանի ցանկացած որոշում կարող է խնդիրներ հարուցել իր իսկ համար։ Գյումրիում կարող են ճիշտ չհասկանալ Վարդան Ղուկասյանին աջակցելու նրա որոշումը։ Չաջակցելու դեպքում էլ պատգամավորը համապետական մակարդակում է հայտնվելու քննադատության տակ։

Մյուս կողմից, նա ռեալ շանս ունի բարձրացնել իր քաղաքական կշիռը, չէ որ՝ իրենից է կախված, թե ով կլինի Գյումրիի հաջորդ քաղաքապետը։ Եվ ձգձգվող պաուզան հունից հանում է թե՛ օդիոզ կերպար Վարդան Ղուկասյանին, թե՛ գործող իշխանությանը։ Վերջինս էլ փորձում է կեղտոտ հնարքներով ազդել Մարտուն Գրիգորյանի որոշման վրա։

Ինչպես և սպասելի էր, «Քաղպայմանագիրը» նաև սկսել է բռնաճնշումները։ Երեկ հայտնի դարձավ, որ Վարդան Ղուկասյանին վերագրվող ենթադրյալ ձայնագրության առնչությամբ քրեական վարույթ է նախաձեռնվել: Վարույթը նախաձեռնվել է ՔՕ-ի 236 հոդվածի հատկանիշներով՝ հավաքին մասնակցելուն հարկադրելը, ինչպես նաև հավաքին մասնակցելու կամ հավաքին մասնակցելուց հրաժարվելու նպատակով նյութապես շահագրգռելու հոդվածի հատկանիշներով: Դատախազությունից հաստատել են տեղեկությունը՝ միևնույն ժամանակ ընդգծելով, որ վարույթը հարուցվել է Քննչական կոմիտեում: Սա վկայում է՝ Փաշինյանը դեռ չի կորցրել Գյումրիում իշխանությունը զավթելու մտադրությունը և ամեն գնով փորձելու է ցույց տալ, թե թքած ունեն հանրության ընտրության վրա։
