«Հայաքվե» նախաձեռնող խմբի համակարգող, հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է. 

110 տարի առաջ այս օրը, Պոլսի 250 հայ քաղաքական և մտավորական առաջնորդների ձերբակալությամբ, Օսմանյան կայսրության իշխանությունները տվեցին մեկնարկը Հայոց Ցեղասպանության, որը տարբեր դրսևորումներով շարունակվեց մինչև 1923 թ., արդեն իսկ կայսրության իրավաժառանգորդ Թուրքական հանրապետության իշխանությունների ձեռքերով:

Մարդկության պատմության մեջ բազմաթիվ կոտորածներ և ոճրագործություններ են եղել, ներառյալ բազմիցս հենց մեր ժողովրդի դեմ, սակայն Հայոց Ցեղասպանությունը պարզապես մարդկանց կոտորած կամ նույնիսկ կոտորածների շարք չէր: Այն խորը ճգնաժամի մեջ գտնվող կայսրության իշխանությունների կողմից մեթոդիկ պլանավորված, հսկայական մասշտաբներով, հրեշավոր դաժանությամբ և նենգ միջոցներով իրականացված հիմնական ազգային փոքրամասնության իսպառ բնաջնջում էր իր պատմական հայրենիքում՝ տեղ ազատելու կայսրության փլատակների տակից թուրքական նոր, ծայրահեղ ազգայնամոլ պետության ստեղծման համար:

Այսօրվա Թուրքական հանրապետությունը կառուցված է մեր, ինչպես նաև հույների, ասորիների, սիրիացիների, վրացիների, քրդերի և այլոց պատմական հայրենիքների, նրանց հազարամյա վիթխարի ժառանգության, նրանց արյան և քրտինքի յուրացման վրա, և այսօրվա թուրք կառավարողները դա հրաշալի գիտեն: Պատահական չէ, որ նրանք շարունակում են իրենց նախորդների ցեղասպան վարքագիծը, փակ պահելով Հայաստանի սահմանը և պարբերաբար սպառնալով մեզ ռազմական ներխուժմամբ, զինելով և հրահրելով Ադրբեջանին, իրենց սեփական տարածքում ոչնչացնելով քրդերին, Սիրիայում՝ ալևիներին և քրդերին, Կիպրոսում՝ հույներին:

Այսօր, Արցախի թուրք-ադրբեջանական օկուպացիայից և բնիկ հայ բնակչության տեղահանությունից հետո, ավելի քան արդիական է դառնում Հայոց նոր Ցեղասպանության կանխումը, քանզի ցեղասպան ագրեսորն արդեն չի թաքցնում իր նկրտումները Հայաստանի Հանրապետության տարածքի նկատմամբ: Դա սակայն որևէ կերպ չի կարող տեղի ունենալ ցեղասպան ագրեսորին սիրաշահելու միջոցով՝ նախկինում սիրաշահելու բոլոր փորձերը ավարտվել են կոտորածներով և սիրաշահողների բնաջնջմամբ:

Այս ագրեսորը միայն ուժի լեզուն է հասկանում, և կանգ է առնում՝ երբ բախվում է կազմակերպված ուժի: Վկան՝ Վանի ինքնապաշտպանությունը, Սարդարապատն ու Բաշ-Ապարանը, վկան նաև՝ Արցախյան առաջին պատերազմը: Այսօր, երբ պատերազմները մղվում են ոչ միայն մարտի դաշտում, այլև, և առաջին հերթին մարդկանց սրտերում և ուղեղներում, մենք պարտավոր ենք նորից կազմակերպված ու մարտունակ ուժ դառնալ՝ ողջ աշխարհով մեկ, և միասնական ջանքով բռնել ագրեսորի ձեռքը, թույլ չտալով նրան երբևիցե նորից ցեղասպանել հայերին, կամ զրկել նրանց սեփական հայրենիքում ապրելու աստվածատուր իրավունքից:

Իսկ մինչ այդ, ոգեկոչում ենք այսօր մեր բոլոր սուրբ նահատակների հիշատակը, սգում ենք կորսված հայրենիքի համար, և խոնարհում գլուխներս՝ նրա ազատության համար մաքառած բոլոր նվիրյալների առաջ: Աստված պահապան վերապրածներին, ուժ ու իմաստություն տա նրանց՝ հասնելու արդարության հաղթանակին:
