«Լիվերպուլի» անգլիացի պաշտպան Տրենտ Ալեքսանդր-Առնոլդը հայտարարել է, որ ընթացիկ մրցաշրջանի ավարտից հետո կհեռանա մերսիսայդյան ակումբից։

«Լիվերպուլում» 20 տարի անցկացնելուց հետո հիմա ժամանակն է, որ ես հաստատեմ, որ մրցաշրջանի վերջում կհեռանամ։ Սա, անկասկած, կյանքիս մեջ կայացրած ամենադժվար որոշումն է։

Այս ակումբը 20 տարի շարունակ իմ ամբողջ կյանքն է եղել՝ իմ ամբողջ աշխարհը։ Ակադեմիայից մինչև հիմա, ակումբի ներսում և դրսում բոլորի կողմից զգացած աջակցությունն ու սերը հավերժ կմնան ինձ հետ։ Ես հավերժ պարտական կլինեմ ձեզ բոլորիդ։

Իմ խորագույն երախտագիտությունը բոլորին՝ մարզիչներից, ղեկավարներից, թիմակիցներից, աշխատակիցներից և մեր անկրկնելի երկրպագուներից՝ 20 տարիների համար։
