«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Իրան-Իսրայել հակամարտության ֆոնին Ադրբեջանը նորից «առաջին պլան» է բերել, այսպես կոչված, «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» հարցը, ինչը սպասելի էր: Մասնավորաբար Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի օգնական Հիքմեթ Հաջիևը հայտարարել է. «30 տարի Հայաստանն Ադրբեջանի Նախիջևան տարածքը մեկուսացման մեջ է պահել, մենք հիմա ակնկալում ենք, որ Հայաստանը կարևոր առաջին քայլը պետք է անի «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» ուղղությամբ»: Ըստ «Հանրապետության հրապարակ» տելեգրամյան ալիքի, Ադրբեջանը ցանկանում է օգտվել Իրան-Իսրայել պատերազմից և կյանքի կոչել իր բնույթով պանթուրքական «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքը»՝ Հայաստանն Իրանից և Իրանը ՀՀ-ի տարածքով Հարավային Կովկասից ու Սև ծովից կտրելու համար. «Իսրայելի կողմից Իրանին հարվածները ձեռնտու են թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմին, քանի որ իրանական պետականության, բանակի թուլացման պարագայում Թեհրանը չի կարողանա պաշտպանել հայկական Սյունիքն ու դա կհանգեցնի ադրբեջանական ներխուժմանը Սյունիք։

Սյունիքն ունի ռազմավարական նշանակություն թե՛ Հայաստանի համար, թե՛ Իրանի։ Իրանը Սյունիքով կապ է պահպանում Հարավային Կովկասի՝ ՌԴ-ի ու Սև ծովի հետ, Սյունիքով Իրանն ունի այլընտրանքային ելք դեպի սևծովյան նավահանգիստներ, ԵԱՏՄ ու ռուսական շուկա»։

Բացի այդ, ըստ հեղինակների, Բաքվի կողմից Սյունիքի օկուպացիայի կամ «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» ստեղծման պարագայում ակտիվանալու են անջատողական շարժումներն Իրանական Ադրբեջանում. «ԻսրայելԻրան պատերազմի պարագայում Հրեական պետությունն ու նրանց աջակցող անգլոսաքսոնական ուժերն ամեն ինչ անելու են Իրանում ներքին ճակատ բացելու համար, իսկ դրա համար կարող են օգտագործել պանթուրքական շարժումներն Իրանի հյուսիսում, ինչպես նաև Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի տարածքները՝ որպես հենակետեր Իրանի դեմ։ «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքը» թույլ կտա Իրանի հյուսիսում ստեղծել պանթուրքական առանցք, որը կարող է օգտագործվել Իսրայելի, ՆԱՏՕ-ի կողմից՝ զորք, զենք և տարբեր իսլամիստական խմբեր Իրանի հյուսիս տեղափոխելու համար»,-գրում է ալիքն ու հավելում, որ քպականներն ոչինչ չեն անում թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմին հակադրվելու ու հայկական ազգային ու պետական շահերը պաշտպանելու համար. նրանց համար թիրախներ են Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին, հայ-ռուսական կապերն ու հայոց բանակը։

Նշում են՝ Իրանն այժմ գտվում է բարդ աշխարհաքաղաքական վիճակում, և Իսրայելն ամեն ինչ անելու է Իրանին Մեծ Մերձավոր Արևելքում թուլացնելու համար: «Իրանի թուլացումն ու հնարավոր կազմաքանդումն էթնիկ-կրոնական սահմանները հայոց պետականության համար թիվ մեկ սպառնալիքներից է։ Սյունիքը հայկական է և կայուն Իրանի շնորհիվ, Նախիջևանից Երևանին հարվածներ չեն հասցվում այդ թվում՝ իրանական պետության հայամետ դիրքորոշման շնորհիվ։ Հայ-իրանական հարաբերությունները պետք է ամրապնդվեն՝ Իրանի տարածքային ամբողջականությունն ու կայունությունը բխում է հայկական ազգային շահերից: Իսրայելն Իրանի շուրջ ստեղծում է պլացդարմներ՝ առաջին հերթին Ադրբեջանում և փորձելու է օգտագործել Իրանում անջատողական շարժումներն այդ երկրի կազմաքանդման համար։ Իսրայելի ու ԱՄՆ-ի շահերից չի բխում միասնական և ուժեղ Իրանի առկայությունը, որը ձեռնոց է նետում անգլո-սաքսոնական շահերին Մերձավոր Արևելքում, Արաբական թերակղզում և Աֆղանստանում։ Այսպիսով, Իրան-Իսրայել պատերազմը կարող է պայթեցնել ողջ Մերձավոր Արևելքն ու ակտիվացնել ռազմական բախումները Հարավային Կովկասում»,-նշում են հեղինակներն ու ամփոփում, որ ՀՀ-ն այս մեծ խաղի մեջ պետք է ունենա ադեկվատ, հայամետ կառավարություն երկրի ներսում, իսկ ՔՊ-ն պետք է օր առաջ հեռացվի, ինչպես նաև ամրապնդի ռազմա-քաղաքական դաշինքը ՌԴ-ի հետ։
