Երևանում է Ջեմալ Փաշայի թոռը՝ Հասան Ջեմալը, ով հանդիպում ունեցավ հայ հասարակության հետ և իր մտքի, անցյալի դառն ու անջնջելի փաստը, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն է բարձրաձայնելուց զատ իր նախնիների և իր պապի կատարած ոճրագործության մասին չվախեցավ խոսել... Դա ավելի շատ խոստովանություն էր... բայց ես ավելի շատ կուզենայի խոսել, այսօրվա Հայաստանի մասին, այսօրվա հայի մասին, ով իր անցյալում կատարած սխալների, դավաճանության, ու էլի շատ ու շատ բացասական կողմերի նախկինում և այժմ կատարվող բռնությունների, սպանությունների, վախի, մեկս մյուսին դատապարտելու, քար շպրտելու ոչինչ չտվեց նրան՝ հային... հաճախ մենք մեր կերպարանքը կորցրած, մենք մեր ներսի վրիժառույին չսպանած, բայց այդպես էլ դարձի չեկած, սխալները դաս չեղան...
հիմա ես իմ ներքին թշնամու, արտաքին թշնամիների դեմ եմ կռվում, բայց գիտես ամենաահավոր բանը, որն է, որ իմ ներքին թշնամիները մարդուն հոշոտելուց հետո, բարբարոսություններ կիրառելուց, մինչդեռ երբեք ու երբեք չհանդիպեցի մեկին, ով գոնե կխոստովաներ, ներողություն կխնդրեր իր ավազակությունների, գործած մեղքերի... Ես երբեք չեմ արդարացնի իմ արտաքին թշնամիներին, մինչդեռ իմ ներքին թշնամիներն ինձ ավելի ու ավելի են սպանում: Բայց գիտես, ինձ համար ինչն է զարմանալի, որ այսօր կան թուրքեր, ովքեր խոստովանում են բարձրաձայն, որ այո՛, եղել է ցեղասպանություն ու դրա հետ մեկտեղ գրքեր են գրում:
2012 թ. Հասան Ջեմալը տպագրել է իր «1915. Հայոց ցեղասպանություն» գիրքը, որտեղ նկարագրել է իր անձնական փոխակերպումը մարդուց, որը մերժում էր Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, մարդու, որն ընդունում է այն: Հասան Ջեմալը Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ծրագրած օսմանյան երեք գլխավոր պաշտոնյաներից մեկի՝ Ջեմալ Փաշայի թոռն է:«Եղեռն» բառն արտասանելիս լեզուս մի տեսակ դաղվում, մրմռում է' բառիս թե՛ ուղիղ, թե՛ փոխաբերական իմաստով, իսկ միտքս… Միտքս հասնում է թուրքերի ամենաթուրք ժամանակները… Ասենք' թուրքերի թրքության ժամանակները մեզ համար չեն էլ անցնում, որովհետև հասկացողի անտարբերությամբ մարդու կերպարանքը կորցրած այս ստահակը' թուրքը, իր մերժողական քաղաքականությամբ և ուրացմամբ դեռ շարունակում է 20-րդ դարի սկզբին իր գործած հրեշավոր ոճիրը…
Եղեռնի գերագույն դահճապետները' աչքերն արյունոտ նախամարդ հիշեցնող մի խումբ բորենիներ, Թուրքիայում այսօր էլ երևելիներ են. նրանց անուններով կան փողոցներ, զանազան հաստատություններ, անգամ' գիտակրթական… Մերօրյա թուրքն այսպե՛ս է վառ պահում իր երեկվա հրեշավոր նախորդի հիշատակն ու «սխրանքի» գաղափարը, թեև, կարելի է ասել, թուրքական լռության պատն արդեն ճաք է տվել. բայց այո՛, թուրքերի մեջ էլ կան մարդիկ, ովքեր կարող են դուրս գալ հենց իրենց սեփական ժողովրդի, պետության, դեմ ու խոստովանել, որ թուրքը միլիոնուկեսից ավել հայ է ոչնչացրել.... դա միմիայն ոգևորում է ինձ, բայց դա շատ քիչ է, որ ես այսօր խաղաղվեմ, էլ ուր մնաց ներեմ...
