Հուլիսի 1-ին Միածնաէջ Մայր Տաճարում հայրենի երկրի խաղաղության, գերյալների ազատության, նեղյալների մխիթարության համար Սուրբ և Անմահ Սուրբ Պատարագ է մատուցել Ֆրանսիայի հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Իր քարոզում Սրբազան Հայրը, հիշեցնելով սուրբգրային «Որտեղի՞ց ես գալիս և ո՞ւր ես գնում» (Ծննդոց 16․8) հարցադրումը, ընդգծել է, որ այն ուղղված է յուրաքանչյուրին և ողջ մարդկությանը։ Գրիգոր Սրբազանն ընդգծել է, որ այդ հարցի պատասխանը գտնելու համար պետք է քայլել դեպի Հիսուս Քրիստոս, որպեսզի ճանաչելով աստվածային ճշմարտությունը՝ զղջումով ու ապաշխարությամբ վերագտնեք մեր իրական կոչումն ու առաքելությունը։

Պատարագիչ Սրբազանը նկատել է, որ հնչեցված հարցն արդիական է նաև այսօր, մանավանդ մեր երկրի համար այս փոթորկալի օրերին։

«Յուրաքաչյուր հայ, եթե ծանոթ է իր երկրի ու Եկեղեցու պատմությանը, վստահ կարող է ասել, թե որտեղի՛ց է գալիս և ո՛ւր է գնում։ Իսկ այն անձը, ով ընդամենն այդ պատմությունից պատառիկներ գիտի, ապագա չունի, որովհետև անցյալն իմանալով է, որ պիտի կառուցես ապագան, անցյալների սխալները տեսնելով է, որ պիտի փոխես ներկան և ապագայում սխալներ չգործես։ Իսկ ու՞ր ենք մենք այսօր։ Ազգովի կարծես այն իրավիճակի մեջ ենք, որ չգիտենք՝ որտեղի՞ց եկանք, ինչպե՞ս հայտնվեցինք այս օրհնաբեր հողի վրա և ու՞ր ենք գնում», - ասել է Ֆրանսիայի հայոց թեմի առաջնորդը՝ հորդորելով ներկաներին առաջնորդվելու ազգային ինքնության գիտակցությամբ լուսավորված ճանապարհով։

Այնուհետև Սուրբ Պատարագի «Տէր, ողորմեա» երգեցողության ժամանակ հոգևորականներն ու ներկա հավատացյալները մասնավոր աղոթք են բարձրացրել ապօրինաբար ազատազրկված Միքայել և Բագրատ արքեպիսկոպոսների, ազգային բարերար տիար Սամվել Կարապետյանի, բոլոր նեղյալների ու գերյալների ազատության, ինչպես նաև հայրենի երկրի խաղաղ և բարօր կյանքի համար։
