При участии правительственных делегаций под руководством премьер-министров Армении и Грузии в Тбилиси состоялись двусторонние переговоры на высоком уровне, передает Арменпресс. После личной беседы премьер-министров двух стран состоялась встреча делегаций в расширенном составе, в ходе которого были обсуждены вопросы повестки экономического сотрудничества, ход выполнения достигнутых договоренностей и перспективы сближения торгово-экономических связей. Премьер-министр Армении Овик Абрамян поблагодарил за приглашение, подчеркнув, что частые взаимные визиты на высоком уровне свидетельствуют о высоком уровне армяно-грузинского политического диалога и способствуют укреплению двусторонних отношений. Премьер-министр Грузии Ираклий Гарибашвили отметил, что Грузия продает важное значение дальнейшему углублению и развитию сотрудничества с Арменией, а также выразил благодарность за теплый прием в ходе официального визита в Ереван. Высоко оценив уровень двустороннего политического диалога, собеседники отметили важность полноценной реализации наличествующего в торговоэкономических отношениях потенциала и в этом контексте коснулись дальнейших действий. С целью увеличения объема двустороннего товарооборота стороны посчитали необходимым реализацию новых инвестиционных проектов и активацию деятельности армяногрузинской межправительственной комиссии. Стороны также коснулись вопроса членства двух государств в разных интеграционных единицах. Премьер-министр Армении отметил, что Армения скоро вступит в Евразийский экономический союз (ЕАЭС), однако вместе с тем продолжит активное сотрудничество с ЕС по всем возможным направлениям. По словам Абрамяна, Армения придает важность наличествующим многочисленным проектам с ЕС и продолжительной реализации реформ. Премьер-министры двух стран отметили, что членство в разных интеграционных единицах должно служить развитию экономик двух стран, созданию новых возможностей для предпринимательства, и не должно препятствовать сближению армяно-грузинских политических, экономических, культурных связей. Была подчеркнута важность строительства электропроводной линии в 400 кВт Армения-Грузия, соглашение о финансировании которой было подписано 9 декабря между правительством Армении и немецким банком KfW. Была отмечена важность начала регулярных авиарейсов Ереван-Тбилиси и Ереван-Батуми. Премьер-министры Армении и Грузии поручили ответственным лицам сферы обсудить решение возобновления рейсов. Армянская сторона подняла вопрос о решении правительства Грузии о том, что граждане Армении могут находится на территории Грузии не более 90 дней, так как в связи с этим решением возникли проблемы. Сообщив, что в законодательстве по миграционной политике Грузии внесены изменения, грузинская сторона пообещала, что до конца первого квартала 2015 года будут решены все проблемы для иностранных граждан, в том числе и граждан Армении. Овик Абрамян передал Ираклию Гарибашвили приглашение президента Армении Сержа Саргсяна 24 апреля 2015 года присутствовать в Ереване на церемонии поминовения жертв Геноцида армян. Были обсуждены также другие вопросы регионального сотрудничества.
