«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

360.ru–ն «Ո՞վ է քո եղբայրը, Արարա՛տ. Հայկական ղեկավարության ազգային դավաճանության օրինակը» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ ՀՀ նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն ասել է, թե հանրապետությունն այլևս Ռուսաստանի «կրտսեր եղբայրը» չէ, որ հարաբերությունները այժմ կառուցվում են բացառապես գործնական մոտեցման վրա, և որ Երևանը ցանկանում է, որ Մոսկվան հաշվի առնի իր կայացրած անկախ որոշումները։ Ինչ վերաբերում է անկախ որոշումներին, ճիշտ է այն, որ վաղուց չենք տեսել անկախության նման բան Հայաստանի իշխանություններից, ամեն ինչ ավելի շատ նման է Բրյուսելից, Փարիզից, Լոնդոնից, Վաշինգտոնից, իսկ երբեմն նույնիսկ Անկարայից հրամաններով գործելուն։

Ինչ վերաբերում է նրան, թե ով ում կրտսեր եղբայրն է, ապա իմաստ չունի խոսել Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ որևէ «եղբայրական վերաբերմունքի» մասին։ Հայաստանը մեծ քայլերով շարժվում է դեպի ԵՄ և ՆԱՏՕ։

Բայց այս ամենը տեղի է ունենում բավականին երկար ժամանակ, պարոն նախագահը մեզ համար այստեղ ոչ մի Ամերիկա էլ չի բացահայտել։ Խնդիրն այլ է։ Մոսկվայի հետ «եղբայրությունից» հրաժարվելով՝ Երևանը համառորեն չի նկատում, որ ոչ ոք իրեն նմանատիպ բան չի առաջարկում։ Ավելին, նրա նոր «բարեկամներից» ոչ մեկը Հայաստանին չի տեսնում որպես գործընկեր, տեսնում է բացառապես որպես օբյեկտ, որի օգնությամբ կարող է լուծել իր աշխարհաքաղաքական խնդիրները։

Վերցրեք, օրինակ՝ Թուրքիան, որի համար Հայաստանը աստիճանաբար հրաժարվում է իր սեփական ինքնիշխանությունից։ Անկարայում չեն թաքցնում այն փաստը, որ պանթուրքիզմի գերիշխող, գրեթե պաշտոնական գաղափարները, ի թիվս այլ բաների, ներառում է Օսմանյան կայսրության կողմից նախկինում կորցրած տարածքների վերադարձը։ Թուրքիայի հետաքրքրությունը ներկայում մասնատված Սիրիայի նկատմամբ կապված է դրա հետ, և նույն այդ թուրքերը նաև հետաքրքրված են Հայաստանով։

Մինչդեռ, որպեսզի չզայրացնի իր հարավային հարևաններին, Երևանը նույնիսկ պատրաստ է հրաժարվել վիզայի դրոշմանիշերի վրա ազգային խորհրդանիշից՝ Արարատ լեռից։ Ինչպես հեգնել է «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության համահիմնադիր Մեսրոպ Առաքել յանը, կարող էին անգամ «Հայաստան» բառը հանել, բայց չարեցին դա: «Ես առաջարկում եմ չսահմանափակվել դրանով և անվանափոխել հայտնի «Արարատ» կոնյակի գործարանը, հատկապես, որ այն վաղուց վաճառվել է ֆրանսիացիներին։ Վերանվանել «Արարատ» ֆուտբոլային ակումբը, որը նվաճել է ԽՍՀՄ առաջնությունը և գավաթը։ Եվ, իհարկե, բոլոր Արարատ անունով հայերի անունները շտապ պետք է փոխել ավելի չեզոք մի բանի՝ կարելի է թուրքական հնչողությամբ։ Դե, ինչո՞ւ ոչ»,– ասել է նա:

Ամեն ինչ սահուն ընթանում է դեպի այն, որ անդրկովկասյան մի երկրի փոխարեն մոտ ապագայում քարտեզի վրա կհայտնվի նոր թուրքական նահանգ։ Այն իշխանությունից, որը Արցախի մերժումը դրական պատմական իրադարձություն է անվանում, հեշտությամբ կարելի է ակնկալել երկրի ու ժողովրդի ազգային շահերի հետագա զիջումներ: Իսկ «ժողովուրդը լռում է», դա նշանակում է, որ ամեն ինչ որոշելու է ուրիշ մեկը:
