Շվեդիայի գիտությունների թագավորական ակադեմիան ֆիզիկայի բնագավառում 2025 թվականի Նոբելյան մրցանակը շնորհել Ջոն Քլարկին, Միշել Հ. Դևորեին և Ջոն Մ. Մարտինիսին՝ «էլեկտրական շղթայում մակրոսկոպիկ քվանտային մեխանիկական թունելավորման և էներգիայի քվանտացման հայտնաբերման համար»։ «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին հաղորդագրություն է տարածել Նոբելյան հանձնաժողովը։ 

Ըստ հաղորդագրության՝ ֆիզիկայի կարևորագույն հարցերից մեկն այն է, թե առավելագույն ինչ չափ կարող է ունենալ համակարգը, որն ունակ է ցուցադրել քվանտային մեխանիկական էֆեկտներ։ 2025 թվականի ֆիզիկայի բնագավառի դափնեկիրները փորձեր են անցկացրել էլեկտրական շղթայի հետ՝ ցույց տալով ինչպես քվանտային մեխանիկական թունելավորում, այնպես էլ քվանտացված էներգիայի մակարդակներ այնպիսի չափ ունեցող համակարգում, որը կարելի է տեղավորել ձեռքում։

Քվանտային մեխանիկան թունելավորում կոչվող երևույթի միջոցով թույլ է տալիս, որ մասնիկն անցնի արգելքի միջով։ Հենց ներգրավված են լինում մեծ թվով մասնիկներ, քվանտային մեխանիկական էֆեկտները սովորաբար դառնում են աննշան: Դափնեկիրների փորձերը ցույց են տվել, որ քվանտային մեխանիկական հատկությունները կարող են կոնկրետացվել մակրոսկոպիկ մասշտաբով:

1984 և 1985 թվականներին Ջոն Քլարկը, Միշել Հ. Դևորեն և Ջոն Մ. Մարտինիսը մի շարք փորձեր են անցկացրել գերհաղորդիչներից պատրաստված էլեկտրոնային միացման միջոցով: Սխեմայում գերհաղորդիչ բաղադրիչները բաժանված են եղել բարակ մեկուսիչ շերտի միջոցով, որը հայտնի է որպես Ջոզեֆսոնի երևույթ: Իրենց սխեմայի բոլոր տարբեր հատկությունները կատարելագործելով և չափելով՝ նրանք կարողացել են վերահսկել և ուսումնասիրել այն երևույթները, որոնք առաջանում էին, երբ դրանց միջով հոսանք էր անցնում: Միասին գերհաղորդիչով շարժվող լիցքավորված մասնիկները կազմում էին մի համակարգ, որն իրեն դրսևորում էր ինչպես ամբողջ սխեման լցնող մեկ մասնիկ։

Այս մակրոսկոպիկ մասնիկանման համակարգը սկզբում գտնվում էր այնպիսի վիճակում, որտեղ հոսանքը հոսում էր առանց որևէ լարման: Համակարգը փակված էր այս վիճակում, կարծես արգելքի ետևում, որը այն չի կարող անցնել: Փորձի ընթացքում համակարգը ցույց է տալիս իր քվանտային բնույթը՝ թունելավորման միջոցով հաջողությամբ դուրս գալով զրոյական լարման վիճակից: Համակարգի փոփոխված վիճակը հայտնաբերվում է լարման ի հայտ գալու միջոցով։

Դափնեկիրները կարողացել են նաև ցույց տալ, որ համակարգը գործում է քվանտային մեխանիկայի կողմից կանխատեսված ձևով՝ այն քվանտացված է, ինչը նշանակում է, որ այն կլանում կամ արտանետում է միայն որոշակի քանակությամբ էներգիա։

Համակարգչային միկրոչիպերի տրանզիստորները մեզ շրջապատող քվանտային տեխնոլոգիայի օրինակ են։ Ըստ հաղորդագրության՝ այս տարվա ֆիզիկայի Նոբելյան մրցանակը հնարավորություններ է ընձեռել քվանտային տեխնոլոգիայի հաջորդ սերնդի զարգացման համար, ներառյալ քվանտային կրիպտոգրաֆիայի, քվանտային համակարգիչների և քվանտային սենսորների։
