Համաշխարհային շուկաներում նավթի գների սրընթաց անկումը սկսել է ազդել ադրբեջանական էկոնոմիկայի վրա: Փորձագետները գտնում են, որ եթե գործընթացը զարգանա այդ հունով, եկող տարի Ադրբեջանի տնտեսությունն ավելի մեծ ցնցումներ կապրի: Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնում է «Ենի Մուսավաթ» թերթը' նշելով, որ նավթի ճգնաժամի պատճառով, Ադրբեջանում հարցականի տակ է նախա տեսված նախագծերի մեծ մասի իրագործումը, իսկ երկրի նավթագազային հատվածում արդեն զանգվածային կրճատումներ են սկսվել:
Բրիտանական The Guardian-ին տված հարցազրույցում Ադրբեջանում նավթի արդյունահանման գլխավոր օպերատոր «Բրիթիշ փեթրոլիում» ընկերության գործադիր տնօրեն Բոբ Դադլին նշել է, որ եկող տարի ընկերությունը հարկադիր կրճատումների վրա պետք է ծախսի 1 մլրդ դոլար: Նավթի գների կտրուկ անկման պատճառով կրճատումներ նախատեսվող երկրների շարքում Դադլին նշել է նաև Ադրբեջանը:
Ադրբեջանում զանգվածային կրճատումներ սպասվում է նաև կրթության համակարգում: Այդ մասին «Ենի Մուսավաթին» տված հարզրույցում հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի իշխող «Ենի Ազերբայջան» կուսակցության պատգամավոր Սիյավուշ Նովրուզովը: Կրճատումների ենթակա ոլորտների շարքում նա նշել է նաև գիտական հատվածը:
Նավթի գների անկումը բերելու է Ադրբեջանում նավթային ընկերությունների եկամուտների և նրանց վճարումների կրճատման, ինչն էլ իր հերթին կբերի նավթային ոլորտում, ինչպես նաև մնացած բոլոր հատվածներում զանգվածային կրճատումների:
Նավթի գների անկումն Ադրբեջանի տնտեսության վրա ազդելու փաստը խոստովանել է նաև այդ երկրի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը «Ռոսիա 24» հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում: Նավթի գինն Ադրբեջանի 2015 թվականի բյուջեում հաշվարկված է մեկ բարելի դիմաց 90 դոլար: Համաշխարհային շուկաներում ներկայումս նավթի գինն ընկել է մինչև 65 դոլար:
«Ադրբեջանի պետական նավթային ընկերությունը (SOCAR) որոշ ժամանակ առաջ արդեն սկսել է զանգվածային կրճատումներն իրեն ենթակա նավթագազային ձեռնարկություններում, և այդ գործընթացն, ըստ երևույթին կշարունակվի»,- գրում է թերթը:
