Սիրիայի հյուսիս-արևմուտքում՝ Իդլիբի Հարեմ շրջանում, գիշերը բախումներ են տեղի ունեցել սիրիական անվտանգության ուժերի և ֆրանսիացի «զինյալների» միջև, հաղորդում է «Al Arabia»-ն։

Սիրիական անվտանգության ուժերը շրջապատել են ճամբարը, որտեղ թաքնվում են ֆրանսիացի «զինյալները», հավելել է թղթակիցը: Աղբյուրների համաձայն, Հարեմում գտնվող ճամբարի դեմ ուղղված գործողությունը կապված է Սիրիայի կառավարության կողմից հետախուզվող ֆրանսիացի «զինյալներին» արտահանձնելու ջանքերի հետ: Ճամբարում գտնվող հայտնի «ֆրանսիացի ծայրահեղականի»՝ Ջիբրիլ ալ-Մուհաջիր մականունով, որդին AFP-ին ասել է, որ «բախումները սկսվել են կեսգիշերից հետո և դեռ շարունակվում են»:

Ալ-Մուհաջիրն ասել է, որ Ֆրանսիայի կառավարությունը պահանջել է, որ «այդ խմբավորման երկու ֆրանսիացի քաղաքացիներ հանձնվեն» սիրիական իշխանություններին։ Հարեմի շրջանի բնակիչը, որտեղ գտնվում է թուրքական սահմանի մոտակայքում տեղակայված ճամբարը, AFP-ին ասել է, որ երեքշաբթի օրվանից տեսել է, թե ինչպես են կառավարական զորքերը լրացուցիչ ուժեր բերում տարածք և լսել է պայթյուններ:
