«Մենք մեզ հաշիվ ենք տալիս, որ չենք կարող միևնույն ժամանակ լինել և՛ Եվրամիության, և՛ Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության անդամ», – ասել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը «Հայաստանը և խաղաղությունը ռիսկերի խաչմերուկում» խորագրով քննարկման ժամանակ։ ԵՄ ու ԱՄՆ դեսպանի մասնակցությամբ կայացած համաժողովում Փաշինյանը թափանցիկ ակնարկներ է արել ԵԱՏՄ մասով։

«Հիմա պարզվում է մի իրողություն, որ կա տարածք այս ճանապարհով գնալու, և որպես Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության անդամ՝ մենք այսօր այդ տարածքի մեջ ենք։ Դա նշանակում է, որ այս կետում անհամատեղելիություն չկա, հակառակ դեպքում դա հնարավոր չէր լինի։ Մենք հստակ հայտարարում ենք, որ այնքան, ինչքան համատեղելիություն հնարավոր կլինի, կշարունակենք մնալ ԵԱՏՄ անդամ», – նշել է նա։ ՀՀ վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող Փաշինյանի խոսքով՝ «մենք ունենք 2 տարբերակ՝ կա՛մ մեզ ընդունում են Եվրամիության անդամ, որը հնարավոր է միայն ստանդարտին համապատասխանելու դեպքում, կա՛մ մեզ չեն ընդունում»։

«Երկու դեպքում էլ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը շահած է դուրս գալիս․ մի դեպքում մենք դառնում ենք լիիրավ անդամ, երկրորդ դեպքում չենք դառնում, բայց լինում ենք Եվրամիության ստանդարտներին համապատասխանող պետություն։ Երբ այլևս համատեղելիության անհնարինություն կարձանագրվի, ՀՀ քաղաքացիների հետ կկայացնենք որոշում», – նշել է նա։

Ըստ էության, Փաշինյանի այս խոսքերից կարելի է եզրակացնել, որ ՀՀ իշխանությունները վերջնական որոշում ունեն իրենց համար, բայց առայժմ մնում են ԵԱՏՄ կազմում՝ Ռուսաստանին չխրտնեցնելու, ԵԱՏՄ գործընկերների հետ խնդիրներ չունենալու, գոնե մինչև խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ հանրության դժգոհությանը չարժանանալու համար։ Իսկ մնացած բոլոր խոսքերը ընդամենը փուչիկ են։
