Idram Conducted a Financial Literacy Class for Roboton Participants
TVIdram and IDBank continue the financial literacy campaign launched about two years ago. This year’s first meeting was held online with Roboton participants aged 8–10. This was the first webinar conducted for such a young age group, during which children were introduced to essential financial concepts. Topics included the importance of budgeting, saving, and purposeful spending, as well as rules for staying safe in the digital environment.
Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of the Communication and Social Responsibility Programs Department at IDBank and Idram, noted: “Last year, the Mind Centre organized the Roboton competition, which brought together around 200 children, and Idram was among the supporters of the event. We also agreed to conduct webinars and meetings on financial literacy for the participating children, and today our first lesson took place. It was very encouraging to see how active the children were—they asked questions, shared examples, and demonstrated a good level of awareness, particularly regarding types of fraud and basic financial concepts. We regularly organize such meetings for different age groups, both children and adults, as financial and digital literacy is one of the key areas of our social responsibility.”
The joint “Financially Literate with Idram and IDBank” campaign continues.
