«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Ինչպես հայտնի է, օրերս ի Տեր է հանգել բարեկամական ու հարևան վրաց ժողովրդի հոգևոր առաջնորդ, Վրաց ուղղափառ եկեղեցու կաթողիկոս-պատրիարք Իլիա Երկրորդը: Միանգամայն բնական և օրինաչափ է, որ Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու հոգևոր առաջնորդ, Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Երկրորդն ու այլ բարձրաստիճան հայ հոգևորականներ ցանկանան ներկա գտնվել հարևան ու բարեկամական ժողովրդի հոգևոր առաջնորդի հոգեհանգստյան, հուղարկավորության և ըստ ծիսակարգի նախատեսված հոգևոր ծեսերին, վերջին հրաժեշտը տան Իլիա Երկրորդին:

Մինչդեռ, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ու նրան ենթակա մարմինները, ի դեմս ռեպրեսիվ օրգանների, մտացածին «գործի» պատրվակով արգելափակել են Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսի՝ երկրից դուրս գալու հնարավորությունը: Բացի այն, որ դա ինքնին խայտառակություն է, կրկնակի ու եռակի խայտառակություն է, որ դրա մասին խոսում են նաև «դրսում», ի մասնավորի՝ Վրաց եկեղեցու բարձրաստիճան հոգևորականները, նշելով, որ իրենք տեղյակ են, որ Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսը մտադիր է այցելել Վրաստան, ներկա գտնվել Իլիա Երկրորդի հուղարկավորության արարողությանը, իր հարգանքի տուրքը մատուցել ի Տեր հանգուցյալ երանաշնորհ Պատրիարքին և իր վշտակցությունը բերել Վրաց ուղղափառ եկեղեցուն ու բարեկամ վրաց ժողովրդին: Սակայն նույն վրաց հոգևորականները ընդգծում են, որ Հայաստանի իշխանությունը արգելափակել է Հայոց կաթողիկոսի ելքի հնարավորությունը:

Այդ հայտարարությունը լսելիս ցանկացած նորմալ հայ մարդ, ամոթից զատ, այլ զգացում չի կարող ունենալ: Բացի երևի փաշինյանական իշխանության անընկալելի քմահաճույքներն սպասարկողներից:

Թվում է՝ այսպիսի հարց, անկախ այն բանից, թե այն ինչպես կկարգավորվի կամ կկարգավորվի արդյոք (գոնե մինչև թերթը տպարան ուղարկելը կարգավորված չէր), ընդհանրապես չպետք է ծագեր: Նախ՝ ինքնին, խայտառակություն է, որ Վեհափառ հայրապետի դեմ գործ է հարուցված, այն էլ՝ բացարձակ մտացածին «հիմքերով»: Երկրորդ՝ մեծագույն ամոթ ու խայտառակություն է, որ մեկ անձի քմահաճույքները սպասարկելու համար Վեհափառի ելքն է արգելվել: Վերջապես՝ եթե նույնիսկ օրենքի տառակերության ձևական (ֆորմալ) կողմը հաշվի առնենք, էլի աննորմալ վերաբերմունք է: Եթե կուզեք, հենց իրավապահներն առաջնահերթ, իրենց նախաձեռնությամբ պիտի դիմեին Մայր Աթոռին ու հայտնեին, որ Վեհափառի ազատ տեղաշարժի, այդ թվում՝ Վրաստան այցելելու համար ոչ մի արգելանք չկա: Իրենք, հասկանո՞ւմ եք, նույնիսկ առանց փաստաբանների միջնորդության: Բայց, դե, ում ինչ ենք ասում...
