Փաշինյանը խայտառակվել է վրաց ժողովրդի առջև» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Բ-ին նվաստացնելու իրենց փորձով Հայաստանի իշխանությունները խայտառակվել են վրաց ժողովրդի և ամբողջ քրիստոնյա աշխարհի առջև։ Այդ մասին հայտարարել է Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու (ՀԱԵ) Ռուսաստանի և Նոր Նախիջևանի թեմի թեմական խորհրդի ղեկավար, Ռուսաստանի գիտությունների ակադեմիայի ակադեմիկոս Արամայիս Կամալովը։

«Հոգու խորքում շատերը հույս ունեին, որ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները, հիմնվելով երկրի հին քրիստոնեական արժեքների վրա, չեն խանգարի Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Բ-ին այցելել Վրաստան՝ ամբողջ վրաց ժողովրդի համար խոր վշտի այս օրերին, և իր վերջին հարգանքի տուրքը մատուցել Ամենայն Վրաստանի պատրիարք Իլ յա Բ-ին։ Երկու կաթողիկոսների միջև քրիստոնեական եղբայրությունն ունի երկար պատմություն։ Նրանց միավորում էր հավատքը, Աստծուն անձնուրաց ծառայությունը, քրիստոնեական արժեքների, մշակույթի նկատմամբ հարգալից վերաբերմունքը և իրենց ժողովուրդներին նվիրվածությունը։ Բայց, չնայած Վրաստանի պատրիարքարանի հրավերին, Հայաստանի իշխանությունները թույլ չտվեցին Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսին մեկնել Վրաստան՝ հուղարկավորությանը մասնակցելու համար։ Սա անարգանք է, սա վիրավորում է բոլոր հայերի կրոնական զգացմունքները և ամոթի զգացում է առաջացնում եղբայրական վրաց ժողովրդի մոտ։ Բառերով անհնար է արտահայտել իշխանությունների այս անմարդկային, հակաքրիստոնեական գործողությունները, որոնք, փորձելով նվաստացնել Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Բ-ին, իրենք են խայտառակվել վրաց ժողովրդի և ամբողջ քրիստոնեական աշխարհի առջև։ Հավերժ հիշատակ Նորին Սրբություն, Ամենայն Վրաստանի կաթողիկոս և պատրիարք Իլ յա Բ-ին։ Ամբողջ հայ ազգն է սգում ձեզ հետ», - նշել է նա։
