ԱՄՆ Սենատի հանրապետականները սատարում են Թրամփի՝ Իսրայելին զենքի վաճառքի որոշումը: Այս մասին հայտնում է Reuters-ը:

ԱՄՆ Սենատը չորեքշաբթի օրը արգելափակեց երկու բանաձև, որոնք կդադարեցնեին Իսրայելին շուրջ 450 միլիոն դոլարի ռումբերի և բուլդոզերների վաճառքը, քանի որ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի կուսակից հանրապետականները համախմբվեցին հրեական պետությանը նրա աջակցության շուրջ: 

ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսում Իսրայելին սատարելու տասնամյակների երկկուսակցական ամուր ավանդույթը նշանակում է, որ զենքի վաճառքը դադարեցնելու բանաձևերի ընդունումը քիչ հավանական է, սակայն կողմնակիցները հույս ունեն, որ հարցի բարձրացումը կխրախուսի Իսրայելի կառավարությանը և ԱՄՆ վարչակազմերին ավելին անել քաղաքացիական անձանց պաշտպանելու համար:

Վաճառքի կողմնակիցներն ասում են, որ Իսրայելը կարևոր դաշնակից է, որին Միացյալ Նահանգները պետք է վաճառի ռազմական տեխնիկա:

Վերմոնտից սենատոր Բեռնի Սանդերսը՝ անկախ գործիչ, ով հարում է դեմոկրատներին, պարտադրեց բանաձևերի քվեարկությունը՝ նշելով, որ վաճառքները խախտում են «Արտաքին օգնության մասին» օրենքով և «Զենքի արտահանման վերահսկման մասին» օրենքով սահմանված արտաքին օգնության չափանիշները:

Առաջին բանաձևը կարգելեր 295 միլիոն դոլարի Caterpillar D9R և D9T բուլդոզերների, պահեստամասերի և այլ օժանդակ միջոցների վաճառքը: Քվեարկության արդյունքում միջոցառման առաջխաղացմանը դեմ քվեարկեց 59 սենատոր, կողմ՝ 40-ը:

Յոթ դեմոկրատներ բոլոր հանրապետականների հետ միասին դեմ քվեարկեցին բուլդոզերների վաճառքի դեմ ուղղված բանաձևի առաջխաղացմանը: Վայոմինգից հանրապետական սենատոր Սինթիա Լամիսը չի մասնակցել քվեարկությանը։

Երկրորդ բանաձևը կարգելեր 151,8 միլիոն դոլարի 12,000 միավոր BLU-110A/B ընդհանուր նշանակության 1000 ֆունտանոց «հիմար» ռումբերի և հարակից լոգիստիկ ու տեխնիկական աջակցության ծառայությունների վաճառքը:

Տասնմեկ դեմոկրատ միացավ բոլոր հանրապետականներին՝ արգելափակելու միջոցառումը 63 կողմ, 36 դեմ ձայների հարաբերակցությամբ: Հյուսիսային Կարոլինայից հանրապետական սենատոր Թոմ Թիլիսը չի մասնակցել քվեարկությանը։

«Իսրայելն օգտագործում է ռումբերը Գազայի և Լիբանանի վրա հարձակումների ժամանակ, իսկ բուլդոզերներն օգտագործում է Գազայում, Լիբանանում և Հորդանան գետի արևմտյան ափին տները քանդելու համար: Միացյալ Նահանգները պետք է օգտագործի իր ունեցած լծակները՝ տասնյակ միլիարդավոր դոլարների զենքն ու ռազմական օգնությունը, պահանջելու համար, որ Իսրայելը վերջ տա այս վայրագություններին», - ասել է Սանդերսը՝ կոչ անելով սատարել բանաձևերը:

Իսրայելը հայտարարում է, որ միտումնավոր թիրախ չի դարձնում քաղաքացիական անձանց, և որ իր հարվածները նպատակ ունեն չեզոքացնել զինյալներին և ռազմական ենթակառուցվածքները:

Չորեքշաբթի օրվա քվեարկությունը ցույց տվեց Իսրայելին ռազմական վաճառքները սահմանափակելու ջանքերի աջակցության աճ: Հուլիսին Սենատում արգելափակվել էր երկու բանաձև, որոնք կկասեցնեին զենքի վաճառքը՝ ի պատասխան Գազայում քաղաքացիական անձանց շրջանում զոհերի:

Նույնպես Սանդերսի կողմից ներկայացված այդ նախագծերը ձախողվել էին 100 տեղանոց պալատում՝ 73-ը 24-ի և 70-ը 27-ի դեմ ձայների հարաբերակցությամբ:
