Կորեայի աշխատանքային կուսակցության լիագումար նիստում ունեցած ելույթի ժամանակ ԿԺԴՀ առաջնորդ Կիմ Չեն Ընը հայտարարել է աշխարհը գերազանցող մակարդակի հզոր պաշտպանական միջոցների հետագա ավելացման անհրաժեշտության մասին։ Լիագումար նիստը միաձայն միջուկային զինված ուժերի ընդլայնումն ու ամրապնդումը ճանաչել է որպես միջազգային ռազմաքաղաքական իրավիճակին արձագանքելու միակ ուղին, հայտնում է ЦТАК-ը։

Պետության ղեկավարը նշել է ԱՄՆ-ի օգնությամբ տարածաշրջանում զինված ուժերի ընդլայնումն ու արդիականացումը։ Նա նաև նշել է, որ հարավային հարևանները անընդհատ ռազմական զորավարժություններ և հետախուզական գործողություններ են իրականացնում ԿԺԴՀ-ի դեմ՝ ծայրաստիճան սրելով իրավիճակը Կորեական թերակղզում։

Նա նաև հիշատակել է ամերիկա-ճապոնա-հարավկորեական միջուկային հարցերով խորհրդատվական խմբի նիստը, որը ստեղծվել է ԿԺԴՀ-ն զինաթափելու նպատակով և որը, նրա խոսքով, մոտեցնում է թերակղզում միջուկային պատերազմը։

«Միջուկային տեխնոլոգիաների հիման վրա արագացված տեմպերով կիրականացվեն ավելի վեհ, նորարարական և ոգեշնչող ծրագրեր», - ամփոփում է գործակալությունը ելույթի այս մասը։

Կիմ Չեն Ընը կարգադրել է արագացնել 10 հազար տոննա ջրատարողությամբ, ռազմավարական կառավարվող հրթիռներով հագեցած հածանավի կառուցումը։ Նա պահանջել է կազմել ռազմարդյունաբերական համալիրի ձեռնարկությունների կառուցման, վերակառուցման և արդիականացման ծրագիր։ Նա նաև հայտարարել է ռազմական բազաների և օբյեկտների ստեղծումն արագացնելու մասին՝ հարավային սահմանը ամրոցի վերածելու, ինչպես նաև ռազմածովային նոր բազաներ կառուցելու համար։

ԿԺԴՀ առաջնորդը հատուկ ընդգծել է բանակի մարտունակության բարձրացման, բոլոր ատյանների կուսակցական կոմիտեների և քաղաքական մարմինների աշխատանքի ուժեղացման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ զինծառայողների զանգվածների հոգևոր ուժը բարձրացնելու համար։
